HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARCHER

 Today our youngest grandchild turns 8.

His parents will be coming over at dinner time with DINNER and a CAKE.

So ya, I don't have to cook.

ABOVE:  If you can't find Archer.... Look for the dogs!

This kid has a huge affinity with animals.  Our dogs would be his if he was allowed them.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE MAN, Grandma and Grandad love you to bits.

Yesterday I showed you a new piece of fabric I scored in Te Awamutu (Fat Bottomed Girls).

I didn't think you would have any idea how it was different from the fabric I already have, so I will show you:

ABOVE:  The new fabric is on the left.  Larger ladies.  It's cute and it does work for the glasses cases.  Neat.

ABOVE:  I've started my next project.  It will be a Fish Runner.  I didn't really find much 'water' type fabric yesterday, so am kinda making my own version to work.

ABOVE:  SM... Your Coin Purse is finished.  

ABOVE:  These two coin purses are off to market on Sunday, weather permitting.

Right, off to do stuff.

12.15  pm:  And I've been working in the sewing room all morning.

ABOVE:  It has taken me four solid  hours to get to this point.  Now all the stitching takes place.

But, I need to go out for a minute to get a couple of things for this evening.

And have lunch.

So I'll be back later to work on it some more.

ABOVE:  Two fish done.... and I'm ready for a break.  

8 pm:  This evening has been lovely.  Bex cooked Ravioli for our dinner, which was delicious.

ABOVE: So yummy.  Ravioli with franks, mushrooms and onion.  

I gave Archer a card that sang 'Happy Birthday' when you opened it... his face just lit up when he opened it.  So lovely.  

ABOVE:  Bex put a Salted Caramel cake on top of a Chocolate cake, as per Archer's request.  Very nice.  I even had some.

So, I do believe Archer had an enjoyable birthday dinner.

And now they have gone home, I've done some hand stitching of tops on Purses/Cases.

Stew is watching rugby.

And in 2-3 hours I might think about going to bed.
