THE DAY TO DECIDE...

By the end of today I will know if I am well enough to fly to Palmerston North tomorrow morning.

I'm hoping I am.

In the meantime, I've got a hair appointment!
I hope I don't fall asleep in the chair.  Or throw up!

Worth noting, I actually got to sleep for about 6 hours last night, first time in 3 days I actually slept for any length of time.  Thank god, I was feeling like a zombie.

Obviously this is going to be a short post... I've not been out and about for a day or so and I've not done anything but be sick.  How boring.
But... it is what it is.

So... until later, when I have something else to yabber on about, I'll just bugger off.

ONWARD...

Dare I say... I AM feeling a bit better?
I hung my cow painting.... which required moving a bit of furniture so I could hang it on the 'right' wall.
I'll show you:

ABOVE:  I put the dining table back in the Family room until we get the Archgola.  Now we have a bit more seating in the lounge, perfect for Christmas.

ABOVE:  'Gypsy' on a prominent wall ... and she looks good there I think.

ABOVE:  the far left corner is now ready for the Christmas tree.  The family has assured me they will put it up while I'm away.   I hope they do.

Right, I'm going to put some face on before I got to the hairdressers.

Right... back from the hairdressers.
It went well.  I'm happy with it.
Next on me list was to pick up my new sneakers from Overland.  I paid for them on Monday and was told I would be able to pick them up today.
Got there, and guess what?  The sales assistant hadn't even ordered them!  I was quite pissed off and asked for my money back.
I shall look for some in Palmerton North.

YES, I am going.  Today has been a bit better than yesterday, still coughing on/off, but so far no throwing up.... got close after lunch but held it off.

After the shoe shop I went to the supermarket and got some lovely fresh supplies for dinner tonight.  I'm making Bacon/Mushroom/Feta/Capsicum and Fresh Herb pasta.  It's what I feel like.  'Comfort food'.

Now all I have to do is cook dinner, then pack my bag for tomorrow.

So... I'm cooking dinner, the dinner I had been looking forward to all day, and I start feeling really, really ill.
So when Stew got home he finished cooking it for me.
I felt so queasy I had to sit on the loo for AGES... waiting for one end or the other to go.

Thankfully neither did!  So, after about an hour I felt well enough to have a small dinner, and I'm so happy it's stayed down and I've perked up.

Maybe being starving is making me feel ill too?  Diabetic an' all... got to wonder.

I just finished packing my bag, I'm determined to go, even if I have to stay put at Chris D's and have my girlfriends visit me there!

End of Day:  off to bed early tonight, hoping I get a good sleep and feel even better tomorrow.
nite nite
