THAT'S THREE DONE

Late yesterday I finished the third Wonky House Runner from that session.

I'm very happy with them.

ABOVE:  How cute is that?  I really love them, they are so bright and cheerful.  And funky.  Let's not forget funky.  😀😏😊

Today I am going to make a start on a couple more Cat Runners.  Just 'basic' ones, not the "Need Wine Now" ones.  They are a right bitch to stitch around!

And that's me for now.

I'm dropping the girls off at Bex's this morning for a play date. They are bored shitless here with me!  They love going over there and playing with the boys.

Then I have a parcel to post before coming home to sew.

Catch ya later.

Lemon Cake Recipe:

ABOVE:  Ignore the 'brand' names.  You can use any butter, sugar etc.  I put in almost double the lemon juice and rind too.
For the 'Topping' I used icing sugar, lemon juice AND rind, and a bit of melted butter.  It is delicious.

ABOVE:  And I'm making good progress on these Cat Runners.
It feels weird without my little buddies here with me!  They are always under my feet!  But I'm sure they are enjoying their visit with the kids.

5.50 pm:  And it's been a go go go day!  Sewing all day.  Had Bex and the boys here dropping off the girls for me.

Then more sewing.
Made amazing progress on all 4 cat runners.

Now though, I have to stop and cook dinner.
Tonight we are having home made tacos.
Wish me luck.

Our tacos:

ABOVE:  Soft Tacos.  Inside, a mixture made up of mince, bacon, medium chilli beans, onions and tomato puree.  Then some shredded lettuce, tasty cheese, nacho chips (crunchy) and sour cream.  Wrapped up and finished off in a sandwich press.
They were really LOVELY.
Not as good as Taco Bell's, but certainly still yummy.

Now.  Usual evening.
Catch ya tomorrow.

  3. Did you do it in the food processor or the traditional way with creaming the butter, and sugar etc. I like Colleen's idea with oranges, too. And Lime would be delcious.

  4. lolololol good luck! We used to have tacos all the time, but it was difficult for the boys to hold when they were small(er) so we went to burritos: same thing, just wrapped in a soft tortilla, super yummy!
