IT LASTED A MONTH

Well... here I am back in the public again.

ONLY because Facebook wasn't working.

Some bastard managed to get in (false 'friend') and stuff it up for me.

The only way I was getting blocked was because 'someone' was reporting me for conceived violations.

I don't want to have to tip toe around on Facebook.  I rely on it to keep in touch with my walking group friends, (not that I'm walking at the moment), and people who don't read my blog at all.  So the last thing I want is to end up being blocked from using it.

It's so damn annoying!

How I blog is going to change though.

If I don't blog first thing in the morning ... suck it up buttercup.

If I don't update multiple times a day ... you will just have to wait till I do.

If I don't tell you about where I'm going today, or what I'm doing ... I'm probably protecting my privacy more.

So, there ya go.

I'm back.  But it will be a bit different.

This return is done rather reluctantly I might add.  I have misgivings.

All the reasons I stopped are still there.  I hope I'm doing the right thing.

Stew told me last night about a new sort of 'hot water bottle'... that isn't a hot water bottle.

It works by heating up gel bags electrically.  They are supposed to stay hot for ages.

So...

ABOVE:  I went out and bought two.

ABOVE:  They are heating up as I speak.  Verdict on them later.

Ahhh the joys. Life can be so funny.

BURN BABY, BURN.

I love my life, and who's in it.  And who's NOT.

2 pm: Verdict on HotPod.  NOT hot.  But fairly warm and is still warm after a couple of hours on my lap.  I'm going to use them in bed tonight and see what I think after that.

I'm not feeling the best this afternoon.  I've got a tummy ache and the shits... sore back too.
So just quietly sitting in me chair acting like a bloody Nana.

4.30 pm:  Nana went to sleep.  With the Hotpods on me back and feet.  It was BLISSFUL.
Still feeling drained and yuk, but not as bad I think.  Just better not fart.

Might not be pretty.

My girls and I sat out the front and watched people go by.  Coco decided after a couple that she needed to bark and chase them off, so we had to come inside.  It's quite fresh out, but not freezing right now.

Which is good, as my neighbour's adult son is standing just over the fence in his undies, doing a BBQ!  IN. HIS. UNDIES.   Nothing else.
I'm like... WHY?  *shaking me head*  πŸ˜³πŸ˜΅πŸ˜–

9.15 pm:  We had roast pork and veges for dinner.  With brown onion gravy.  Bloody delicious.
I'm now watching tv in the family room, and Stew's watching in the lounge.   Cos I'm watching taped Coronation Street, followed by this evening's Coronation Street.
Not Stew's cuppa tea.  Nope, not at all.

    2. I have found it good so far. I did buy a ‘hardware store’ brand for $150 rather than the tool branded ones that went up to $250 If the tool branded ones run off the actual tool batteries they can be rather heavy to carry around.

How did a "false friend" get on your FB page? One of my more unpleasant children made fun of how few friends I have on mine, but the laugh is on them, my security settings are so tight that nobody can even see my page let alone get into it. I'm sorry you have had to go through all this Chris. Your blog, your way, no censorship. It's just a pity we can't block people from reading our blogs like we can on FB or I'd go back to blogging myself, I miss it. Trish in Oz.

  25. Yes! You are back. I hope you can stay but you will have to decide that for yourself. My Mother In Law reads your blog (she's the one that told me about it). But she has never commented and doesn't use facebook. This morning I sent her your active blog link and she was just delighted! She got all caught up immediately!

  27. Don't feel you have to update multiple times a day, or at all if you don't feel like it. You can blog if & when you feel like it. In the meantime, try & weed out the fake FB friend.

Yay! You’re back! I love a good comfy furry pair of slippers in winter, cause I HATE cold feet. Winter here gets down into the -40s, but I should stop B!tching because summer gets up to +40s and I hate that worse!
Am I the only person that giggled inside their head and thought “that neighbour is cooking his own chipolata”?
