I saw this picture on Facebook yesterday, by now it's probably been seen by most people, but I still wanted to share it:
ABOVE: It really is a bit funny.
He has always looked like he had orange foundation on!
Moving on... Keera and Lacy are due here in a couple of hours.
I'm contemplating us taking a day trip to Raglan.
If the weather is good that is.
It's time we had a break away from the house.
ABOVE: Raglan on a perfect summer day.
Fish n chips by the harbour.
Swimming in the harbour.
Sunshine and a sea breeze.
And immediately jumped in the pool.
Steve, Bex and the boys arrived and joined us.
Then we all shared Chinese Takeaways for dinner.
It has been just the most perfect summer day.
We will all sleep well tonight I am sure.
I think we will just be hanging around inside, watching some horrible shit on TV before heading off to bed.
I might work on my jig saw some more too... I'm really enjoying it.
Have fun getting out and about. Heading home here for another weekend of lockdown. Only consolation is there is a snowstorm on the way and it is welcome opportunity not to having to be anywhere.
ReplyDeleteHave a fun day. I have actually not seen that particular Trump meme.
ReplyDeleteI envy you being able to go out and about, like Teresa I am in lockdown also. We can expect some unpleasant weather too.
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny, have not seen that picture before, thanks for sharing. So true.
Enjoy the visit with Miss Muppet! I am so happy your family is now so near. Happy weekend! Ky Girl

What a great day. Fabulous pictures.
ReplyDeleteFor us, NZ life is kind of like watching a movie, so weird to see people intermingling.

ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice day to be by the water! Your sandals look great too! I did parkrun here this morning it starts at 7am and the heat in the last kilometre was something else, thought I’d pass out. The weather only says 30C but it felt way hotter than that. Big storm here now so hope it cools us down.
ReplyDeleteWrote a bit comment and for an error so here goes again, apologies if duplicate. Looks like a great day by the water. Your sandals look great too! I did parkrun here at 7am and almost passed out from the heat in the last kilometre, soooo hot. Forecast only says 30C but it sure feels hotter. Nice storm here now to cool things down hopefully.
