I got an email from the Tamahere Market organiser over the weekend, confirming that we have a spot for the October market.
And we are in the same place too, which is neat as we liked that site very much. It looks like we MIGHT have 'our spot' there now! Like maybe permanent? Gosh I hope so, cos that is the one market I really wanted to get into on a permanent basis.
I'm already guaranteed my spot at the Cambridge Church market every October and January. So I'm set with those two Markets I hope.
Monday here, so first up for the day is getting the washing done. Then any other housework that needs doing, before I head off to the sewing room.
The Christmas Runner I'm working on is just so much fun. 😊
ABOVE: So this is the 'thingee' I've got on the new Christmas runner.I think he's gorgeous.
Bex said why didn't I make one in browns.
Bex needs her head read.
BROWN???? 😂😅😝
I don't do anything unless it's nice and colourful.
There might have been a couple of coffee cup runners that were brown? Meh.
Lovely surprise this morning. My dearest friend Sandra C from Palmerston North is taking my Christmas Runner! So I better finish it eh? lol
I love it when something I have made goes to a friend.
It's 11 am, and I have finally finished my housework. It took longer than 'normal' as I threw in a couple of extra jobs.
Now I am off to the supermarket to get a few supplies... yaaaa. NOT.
ABOVE: We are having a Bacon & Sausage salad for dinner. Sounds weird, but I'm sure it will be lovely.
ABOVE: The 'Queen of Toys' thought the piggy was for her. Sorry Marls, it's not. And OMG thank goodness the girls get groomed tomorrow! They look like bloody sheep.
OK... off to the supermarket I go.
???????? Below is my update which didn't post:
2.23 pm: Well maybe a Monday is not the right day to go grocery shopping? The shelves in quite a few places were bare.
But, I did manage to get everything on my list, plus more. I don't think I'll need to go again for a fortnight thankfully.
Home now and all the groceries are put away, I've done some dinner prep, had lunch and am now going to take a break before I head into the sewing room to finish Sandra's Christmas Runner.
6 pm: I don't know what happened there, I did an update a while ago but it didn't appear.
so, I'm sewing.
Stew is home eating his delicious dinner.
I will continue sewing for a bit longer then come in to put me feet up.
8.37 pm: And I finished the Christmas Runner, and will show it on here.... tomorrow.
Sandra, I am sure you will love it.
And that's a wrap on me day. Catch ya tomorrow.
It's darling.

ReplyDeleteThat runner is too cute. Let me know the dates for the markets,
ReplyDeleteChris - is that multi-colored thread around the left antler or material? Whichever, I love the look of it. Ky Girl
ReplyDeleteAround the right antler is multi coloured thread.
DeleteBeing almost a non sewer - I didn't know that was available. Cool. Thanks for the answer back. Ky Girl
DeleteI love it! He needs all that colour for sure. I hate browns but do love mono tones ie, black and white. Obviously not for a raindeer though!
ReplyDeleteLove the reindeer. Very Christmassy.
ReplyDeleteLove the reindeer so cute
ReplyDeleteHi the runner looks great!!! I had to laugh at Bex's brown...lol. Peta
ReplyDeleteCrikey - are you STILL at the supermarket?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the alert Chick... I hope I've fixed the problem now.
