POOL ... AND OFF TO WHANGAREI

In case you missed it:

ABOVE:  In my happy place.  I'm going to live in this pool for the next 2-3 months!
It's FANTASTIC.  We all utterly love the deep 'end'.  Such a good idea that was.

Sadly, no swimming for us today though.
We are going up to Whangarei on a fabric shopping trip!

ABOVE:  Yeah, that will be ME... gleefully hanging out to get there.

We are going to stay in Whangarei tonight, then head home again tomorrow.  Stopping in at two fabric shops in Auckland on Friday too.

So... that's me for now.  We will be leaving in the next hour or so.  Steve, Bex and the boys will be heading home to Auckland today too.

Brylee and Lacy will be staying here, with our cousin Danielle coming for a sleep over too.
So we don't have to worry about the dogs or fish... the girls will look after them.

ONWARD...

2.04 pm: safely in Whangarei.  Shopping for fabric and panels.

ABOVE: We have been in the shop for over an hour so far. Got  about 80 meters of fabric and 22 panels!

Need a good rest after this.

Well... we have booked into the hotel. Been to 'town' for a wander and had an icecream for lunch!

We will be eating dinner at the hotel restaurant  then having an early night.

In no order at all :

ABOVE: THE GIRLS AT HOME ABOUT TO GO FOR A SWIM.

ABOVE: The view from our room. The Whangarei  river.

 ABOVE: Lunch with a view.

ABOVE: My purchases today.  We got a 15% discount too... which amounted to a very good sum I can spend at the next shop! Lol

Well ... we had a wonderful dinner at our hotel tonight.  And now we are relaxing before bed.
