WAITANGI DAY

Well, it's another public holiday here today.
So Stew and the kids are home again.

We certainly don't have any plans for the day.

I'd like to get on with my sewing, I want to finish the fox wall hanging, then make another donkey wall hanging,  before my first Cambridge Market on Sunday.

This evening I have Card Night with the Cambridge Connections Group.  It's being held here, so I really should make sure the house is tidy.

I took a couple of little videos yesterday while at Flochella, so here is one:

ABOVE: The music in the background is NOT a live band playing.  It's just the radio station broadcasting from the stage.
The live acts were not on for very long, and in between each one was just radio music.
There were hundreds upon hundreds of pretty cool floaties ... I really enjoyed seeing them all.  Some were HUGE and very elaborate.

And that is all I have for now... catch ya later.

ONWARD...

Just out:

ABOVE:  This week's Woman's Weekly, which has the article in it about our walking group.

So cute...

ABOVE:  Bex and Keera out shopping today... and Keera wants to know "When was Grandma here?"  ... she thought I had to be in Auckland to be in the magazine.  Kids and how they think eh?

I finished the Fox, so now on to the Donkey.
Stew is out mowing the lawns.  There is a cool wind blowing today, makes it bearable I suppose.

9.50 pm:  And it's been a brilliant evening.  We had Card Night here... there were 8 of us playing.  And there were 4 kids of various ages who enjoyed playing inside and outside with Brylee.

Time to wind down for the day... it's not so hot this evening, such a relief.
