I LOVED:

OH CRABBY I DO BELIEVE WE'RE RATHER LOST!

TUNA

As I said at the beginning, everyone has different tastes.

Tell me what is YOUR favourite sculpture... or two.
I loved the last two.  'Crabby'... TOTALLY LOVE IT.  And the Eel on top of the pole is gorgeous too.

It took me ages to get all the photos as there were lots of people and bloody kids climbing all over the sculptures, even though there were signs everywhere,  asking people NOT TO climb on them.

Now, some photos of the littlies from yesterday afternoon:

ABOVE:  Keera was having a grizzly day... though Lacy did get her to give her the 'thumbs up' sign.  Rather cute.

Then Bex took Lacy to her course, and they left the babes with me... this is them right after their Mum's went out the front door:

ABOVE:  two squawking babies.  LOVELY, I was really feeling the love.  *sniff*

ABOVE:  Luckily this Grandma knows how to shut up crying babies!
NOTICE how they are BOTH SITTING?   I sit on the floor like that!  They take after me obviously.  I DID NOT 'pose' them either, that's just how they sat on the floor.

So... how was that?  Far too many photos but hey... you asked to see them!  Well ok, some of you did.

TODAY?  Looking after Keera on top of everything else.  Hopefully I'll do some sewing.  I will start making a border for the quilt, it's just going to be simple squares I think.  I don't want to take the focus away from the Dresden Plates.

I had wanted to sew rows 4 & 5 to the first 3 rows last night, but didn't get around to it.
That might be done tonight.

ONWARD...

Well, I've not accomplished much yet today.  I sewed rows 4 & 5 together, then got sidetracked with the layout of me sewing area.
So I've spent the past couple of hours pondering if I can move it into a better configuration.
Probably a total waste of time as it's been this way for ages and it does work.
EXCEPT for when I need to sew large projects, like my Dresden Plate Quilt.

I also popped out to the supermarket for a few supplies ... dinner is in the crock pot (Beef/Bacon/Tomato Stew), it will be yum I'm sure.

Bex is doing most of the 'looking after' with the littles... leaving me free to do me own thing.

End of Day:  whoops, almost forgot to do this bit.
It's been a long, hot day inside.  Thank goodness Bex has been helping heaps with keeping the kids happy.
Dinner was lovely, ya just can't go wrong with a beef stew done in the crock pot.
nite nite

  2. All interesting to see but I don't have enough knowledge of art appreciation to understand the prices. Mostly, I like the colorful ones best.

  4. My fav is tree man. My grandchildren like to lay on the floor like me too, it's so funny as none of their parents do so they must get it from me, makes me feel special. Hope your day goes well.

  5. That first one I thought it was real flowers! Very cool!

How they are sitting is how Jessica crawled, she'd lean over and pull herself along. Never did crawl like a normal kid lol.
