I bought some new bottles for Emily yesterday, and I do believe she likes them!

ABOVE:  how clever is she then?  Within minutes she had that bottle sussed.

TODAY:  nothing much, shall probably do the vacuming I didn't get around to yesterday.. and of course cluck over Emily.

She really is the most delightful wee baby... so happy!  She beams when you talk to her... it just melts me heart.

I'm expecting a puppy travel case to arrive sometime today too... it's for Grey puppy to go down to Wellington in.

I am looking forward to my lunch again today... smoked chicken salad again.  yum yum...

PINK must be the theme for today!
Grey Puppy's travel case arrived:

ABOVE:  I'm thinking it's just as well Dogs are colour blind, otherwise Grey might had some issues using this travel case!  lol

ABOVE:  Everyone clamouring to have a gander at this new toy..

ABOVE:  Yellow girl (Tulip) was the first in it..

ABOVE:  closely followed by Grey puppy..

ABOVE:  then it was just a free for all... everyone was getting in it, trying to climb over it... very sweet.
I am going to leave it in there now until Grey leaves home *GULP*.

CRANKY!!!  I would never NOT PUBLISH YOUR COMMENTS!  That is the first one from you I have seen in a fact the last comments I got from you were on the 13th of September on 'Shearing The Sheep' and PEPSI.

Vacuming - Done.  Wash floors - Done.  Washing - Done.

Lets forget about the dusting/polishing/cleaning loos and bathrooms/bla bla bla.
There is only so much you can do in one day AND look after a 7 month old!

I had a lovely long yak on the phone to my friend Chris D down in Palmerston North, and Me Mum over in Australia too... so that was a nice break from housework.

Got some yummy chicken thighs in the oven, rice in the rice cooker... going to plonk the chicken on the top of rice and put some salad greens on the side for the family.
Me? I'm having a baked potatoe with baked beans and onions on top.  YUM!

DRUMMING FINGERS ON ME CHAIR...just how long does it take for a potatoe to be roasted when you are starving?  TOO BLOODY LONG.
It's 7.30, family is fed... and I'm still waiting...

End of Day:  well clearly I forgot to put this bit up!
nite nite (two days late!)

Oh my. It will be a very sad day for you. I cried when we gave our kittens to nice new homes. You just get so attached. Just think about them running about in their new homes all happy and getting spoiled rotton!! ...debbie

  2. Hmmm...not getting my comments or just not publishing them? I can stop commenting if I'm pissing you off!

  3. That puppy carrying makes me cry. I am going to need a few stiff drinks when they leave. Hopefully the puppies are loved, spoiled and treated as adored members of the family. Glad to hear all things going well with WW. Take care x

I know tissue boxes at the ready for all of us to. They are just Beautiful. Think of the fun you (and us) have had with the pups from day one
The pups need to move on from their Mum to have their own lives.
Think of what the pups will bring to their new owners esp the little boy.

  5. Oh the puppies are so fluffy and cute and GETTING BIGGER all the time, Emily certainly is growing too and I love watching babies and bottles and them working out how it all goes and then she will learn to share with the puppies!!!!!

  6. Can never see too many photos of the puppies. I am going to miss seeing them when they all leave home :O(

    Michelle x

  7. OMG they are so cute, how scary having to fly one of them to Wellington, but they do take good care of their puppies and hey he is so cute they might let him in the front with the pilot... lol

Don't worry Kiba will still be there to play with you! Put a metal skewer through the middle of the spud before you put it in the oven. The skewer will heat up and cook the middle of the potato. I read that somewhere, but I haven't actually tried it! WOMBAT

  11. A watched pot never boils, and a roasting potato never roasts when you're hungry.

  12. Just caught up with you. Love the new bottles for Emily and how well she took to them. Brilliant, she is!

The puppies are adorable. So sad that soon most of them will be gone. BUT - just think - your house will be much calmer when they are gone. I wonder how Coco will do when her babies are gone?

  13. She's a smart little cookie. Hope its too hard to let go of the pup.

  14. Chris, Emily gets cuter by the day. She is just the sweetest little thing! And of my gosh...the puppies are so adorable. I love the photos of them playing in the carrier. I don't know how you're going to part with them...I'd be crying my eyes out!

Hope you got to eat that potato!

  15. emily is gorgeous. how lucky for you to have her for a few days. bonding time.
