WHAT TO DO???

Hmmmm.... because I didn't sell very much AT ALL last Sunday, I've got plenty of stock for my next markets.

I can't do NOTHING over the next two weeks though.

So, what shall I do?

I was wondering about making some smaller runners.  Or some small cot quilts?  Lord knows I have PLENTY of cot quilt panels!  I just want to be doing something.

Today is the Dinsdale Patchwork Group meeting.  I am probably gunna attend.  As long as I can find some work to do there.

So I better head off into the sewing room and suss something out.

ABOVE:  The view out my back door right now!
Stunning.
But it's a cold day, very, very windy.
Rather typical for this time of the year.  Wind.

ABOVE:  At Patchwork Group this morning, I noticed a lady had her bobbins all tidy in these things.
I asked where I could get some of them?
Seems any chemist, they are TOE SEPARATORS, for painting ya nails!  OMG too funny.
Patchwork group was lovely today.  Such nice ladies to hang out with.

ABOVE:  I went to the mall on my way home and ... so lucky!  They had a Castaway  DVD.  Saved from not seeing it again.

Now... I'm off to Lacy's for an hour or so.  She's getting some furniture and household effects delivered this afternoon.

Wow!  Lacy was expecting a small amount of donated items to arrive today.
Instead, it was all brand spanking new!!!

ABOVE: Not only that, six people arrived and unloaded, unboxed and unpacked it all for her too.
Gosh there's some really lovey people out there.

ABOVE:  So cute how her table runner matches her new table and chairs!

She's now organising/putting away and fluffing around in her new home.

5.15 pm.  Debating with myself if I shall go to WW this evening.  I've not been 100% good this past week and I've put on about 500 grams.
Grrrr.  Celebrated getting to my 2nd big goal a bit much me thinks.
I hate the yo-yo effect.  I really don't have to be very bad at all to have a gain.  Does my head in.
So should I go?  I dunno yet.
Maybe I shall just go on Friday.  By then I'll have lost that damn 500 grams.

I went.  I weighed in.  I gained .300 grams.  So the damage wasn't too bad after all.  And I stayed UNDER my magic number!  Rather happy about that.

I will have to be extra good this coming week to get back to a positive loss next week.

Now though, we just had a lovely dinner of homemade burgers.  And I'm going to enjoy watching Coronation Street later on, then bed.
Catch ya tomorrow.

DAY 62 DONE AND DUSTED
When you dream of burgers all day long... simple.  Make ya own!  They are often even better than a bought one.

When the Castaway movie came out we went to the movies, and during the night after the movie I got a terrible toothache and was awake all night, my root canal had decided to become infected and I was thinking about the scene where he was banging his tooth out...lol...imagine being on a island with no dentist....lol....Peta

  4. Serious question... you still actually have a DVD player? haha... we've not had one for years. I find every movie I'd ever want to watch online and chrome cast it to the TV. Regarding Lacy's stuff, our local Vinny's op shop uses all of their profit for exactly this purpose. I try to always support them now because I love that they help families into homes.

    2. It was a joking question. Of course I realised she had one. Hopefully Chris understood.

What a fabulous social security program you seem to have there. If you get Netflix… there is a show called “maid” that is a fantastic show and a very accurate portrayal of our systems. Highly recommended the show regardless!
