SO SORRY

SORRY.

Today's post is going to be incredibly boring.

I'm sewing.

ABOVE:  I finished the second Kiwiana Bowl Cosy last night, it's gorgeous!

I am going to make 2 more like it today, and then STOP making them!

I will have about 40 in my stash, that's enough to get me through the next 4 markets at least!

It's going to be weird no needing to make anything after today!  What shall I do with myself?

There's only so much housework I can do, or needs doing!

I wish I loved gardening.  I could potter in the garden, pull some weeds, plant some succulents, bla bla bla.  But yeah nah.  UNLESS I get bored shitless.

OH hell!  I could start work on the wet room.  It needs all the walls sanding down, and then painting with special 'bathroom' paint.  There, something to start tomorrow.  SORTED.

ABOVE: It took a while, but I'm happy.

Right, I shall get outta bed in a while, and check the pool, it was still cloudy yesterday.  I might get the water tested again, maybe it needs Clarifier next.  Luckily we have plenty of time to get it crystal clear again, before it's time for swimming again.

10.25 am:  I've been out and about this morning.  Posted off  a medical thingee, got Clarifier for the pool, sweat rash cream (essential over summer!),  and then some groceries. That filled a couple of hours in me day.

Now?  Sewing.

I just got my blood test results.

And my HbA1c number has gone DOWN by 42 points!

42 points.  That is a huge drop.

I  am so happy with that result.

My numbers are still quite high compared to 'normal' levels, but hell!   42 points.

I have made an appointment to see the doctor ... the earliest I could get to see him was on November the 25th.  But at least I will see the same man, instead of some random Doctor.

I am going to talk to him about a new diabetes medication I've been told about, one that might be a game changer for me.   NOT INSULIN, but it is administered via injection, but only once a week.  I can do that, IF I am eligible.

Gosh I'm buzzing, such good news.

ABOVE:  And there we have it.  Last two made.

Time to turn off the machine, and take a break.

6.45 pm:  Eeeek.  I started watching something on Netflix... HOOKED on it!  It's weird.  BUT.  MUST.  KEEP.  WATCHING!

It's called 'IF ONLY'.

Well... that Netflix series ended up with a weird ending... not sure I was happy with it.

But oh well.  There's plenty more on Netflix to watch, another day.

Time for bed, it's getting close to 11 pm.

Catch ya tomorrow.

I take ozempic. That type of meds for mine. I can barely see the needle and can not feel the shot at all. Mine can be administered different places but I chose my stomach. ~~~ Amy-Jo
