Still a nope day.
Battling exhaustion.
6.47 pm: We went out for a walk. Around the shops at The Base. We didn't go into the mall though.
Mike and Joyce down in Palmerston North both have Covid now. Both seem to be getting off lightly, though Mike just tested Positive today, so it's still early days for him.
ABOVE: Majority of my day was either here, or lying on me bed. If I do ANYTHING at all I break out in a sweat, go all tingly and feel sick.
Still exhausted. Very, very frustrating.
$350 bucks later.
At least there was some BALANCE ... as shown above!
ABOVE: We are cooking dinner now, which is Pork Belly Burnt Ends, with salads. The Pork came in a pre-packaged box. Not got them before.
And that's me for the day.
Catch ya tomorrow.
Chris, please talk to your Doctor about it, in the meantime just rest, I know it’s hard for you but your body is telling you to take care and take the time you need to get your health back.
ReplyDeleteRelax🤣🤣🤣and don’t come back. Take time for you 🥰
ReplyDeleteJust rest so your body can heal. I know it's not something you do well Chris but you like challenges. Kj
ReplyDeleteOh no! I miss you! But, take whatever time you need!
ReplyDeleteAgree with Magpie first thing tomorrow ring the doctor take care 💙💙
ReplyDeleteCovid and exhaustion unfortunately go hand in hand. Rest as you need to, do small things if you need something to do. But just resting is a-ok. I hope you feel better soon. XO Ky Girl
ReplyDelete❤️💐🌺
ReplyDeleteRest!!!!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately this is a side effect from the virus just when you think you you have recovered you fall in a heap from exhaustion. Rest up and take the time to let your body and mind recover

Definitely a good idea to listen to your body and rest 🌷🌷
ReplyDeleteSorry, should also add consider incorporating a glass of an electrolyte drink in your diet for a wee while ... really can help a lot of people with energy levels.
DeleteI read the other day you should rest for six weeks after you think you are well, to avoid the risk of long COVID. Take care Chris (and prepare for a lot of boredom and frustration- in a good cause!)
ReplyDeleteJust keep testing, it is just your body dealing with the after effects of Covid. Sadly it may last a while 😕
ReplyDeleteHugs to you Chris. Glad you are resting. You’ve certainly had a nasty dose of covid 😢. Medics are suggesting lots of rest, healthy light diet (soups etc), lots of fluids and perhaps a multi vitamin. I’m sure you’re doing everything you can to get better. Fingers crossed you’ll start to feel better soon
ReplyDeleteYou do so much - even on a quiet day. Go to bed or lie on the couch all day. I know it’s hard for you. But read a book/magazine, do a crossword, listen to a podcast anything to keep you sitting down. All the jobs will wait.
ReplyDeleteEmily
I was told to have electrolyte drinks to help my dizziness however the drinks get a bit expensive. So I bought a box of it from health food shop and have a glass every morning. Has certainly given me some oomph but still dizzy sometimes.take care Chris kj
ReplyDeleteI have a frozen box of burnt ends...may get them out for tonights dinner. Thnx for the reminder. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you felt well enough to venture out of your four walls...I am sure they are closing in on you. Remember to rest, rest, rest.
How is Steve doing? He and his clan lucky enough to stay away from covid?
Our mask mandate ended yesterday. I thought it would be tomorrow but when I went to the store
yesterday No One had a mask on...I kept mine on and will do so until I see if we get a spike from everyone else going maskless.
Take care, Ky Girl
