CHRISTMAS EVE DAY

And so excited about today!

Mike and Joyce are arriving from Palmerston North. We expect them mid to late afternoon. I won't be able to relax until they are safely here.

Until they get here, we have lots to do.
The guys are going to do a little work on the playground/monkey bar structure and Bex and I are going to get some grocery shopping done.

Steve was given a turkey from his boss... so that is going in the oven today too.

Tonight I am making our Christmas trifle... in the big fish bowl. This time I hope to get the layers right.

And that's all I have for now. I hope your final day before Christmas goes well and you are anticipating a wonderful, family filled day tomorrow.

I know our day is going to be the BEST in a long time.

ONWARD...

So far so good.  Groceries are done.  Turkey is in the oven.  The guys have the construction materials, and are working on the playground.

I feel guilty as hell, Steve only has two days off, and I've got him working!  Luckily, he loves me so much he would do anything for me.
That's the sort of love you appreciate from your kids.

 ABOVE:  A very happy Granddad.

ABOVE:  And the construction starts on PHASE ONE.

ABOVE:  The kids are getting excited... but it's still not finished quite yet.

Once this part is done, I will consider what PHASE TWO will be.  Cos there will be more added at some point.

 ABOVE:  PHASE ONE ... DONE.

ABOVE:  'BOB' aka Steve, taking a well earned break.  Stew and him did a really excellent job... so thankful they are so handy.  They work well together.

ABOVE:  The kids, even the big ones, enjoying the playground.

Utterly shattered.  It's been a long, hot day.
I will be having a quick nap soon, before Mike and Joyce arrive!

Then it will be time to make the trifle for tomorrow, then go to bed.

Always fighting with someone in your family, don't you think maybe because you are so volatile that maybe you're the problem?

I fight with my family too. My father, my daughter, my sister. All three are cunts and I won't take their shit any longer. Am I volatile? Perhaps. I was also abused as a kid and won't take ANYONE'S shit. So Anon, before you pass clueless judgment, consider the reasons WHY many of us fight with our families!! You probably don't have anyone at all to fight with because no one wants to be around you.

  4. Anonymous, you freakin fruitcake, YOU KNOW NOTHING, Chris does not seek out or cause any of the "fights" as you call her issues and on going difficulties with certain members of her family. Chris does not fight with Stew or the family members who treat her with respect and loyalty she deserves. No matter how much she has had to endure from those who cause her grief, if she is needed she will never turn her back on them. As I said YOU KNOW NOTHING.

Anon has shit for brains. Must be able to see where they live??? I think it's someone who's really miserable and pissed off because you are so happy and they've stuffed their own life up so ridicule yours.
