Today I have photos from yesterday... and I'm not going to add captions. Well... maybe just a few, cos they are just happy snaps really.
ABOVE: Panmure Basin, where the train 'park' is. The trains only run on a Sunday afternoon, 1 - 4 pm. We were there the whole time, so managed to get heaps of rides. Rides cost $2 each, babies free. Well worth it.
ABOVE: Ha ha... I managed to have 4 rides. *smiles* ๐๐๐
I'm happy to say Keera came right after being unwell last night. Her temperature came down thanks to a tepid bath, ice cream and panadol!
Triple strategy worked.
Today ... well as Keera's recovered from her upset yesterday, she is off to Kindy.
Then I will do the housework, with Brylee and Griffin giving me a hand.
They are not going to be staying in bed till midday again!
ONWARD...
Well... I've not been lazy after all. As if!
I found a pile of presents I had not wrapped, so I've been working on that most of the morning.
Oh, and I had to get Griffin to move our Christmas Tree... because in hindsight having it in the lounge was a pretty dumb idea.
Steve, Bex and the boys will be here at the end of the week, and Archer is still in his 'touch EVERYTHING' phase, so the tree was not safe.
Now, at least where it is, we can keep an eye on it.
ABOVE: now on the dining table in the family room... and I get to enjoy seeing it all day long.
I felt sorry for all the wee birds we have around right now, so many babies!
So I grabbed a casserole dish (for lack of a bird feeder!) and put bread and muesli in it. The birds are going nuts on it!
ABOVE: My make-shift bird feeder. I've filled it twice already today and the birds have eaten everything. At some point I will find a 'proper' bird feeder, and get some proper bird food too.
It's lunchtime, so I will take a break and have food me thinks.
Thanks Chris M for the lovely yak... love hearing from you.
And yeah, who reckons my mentioning a 'bird feeder' might be a friggin BIG HINT... with Xmas coming up an' all? ๐๐๐
Might work. Might end up with ONE???
Subtlety ain't my strong point any more.
The days winding down... I've got dinner ready to prepare, chicken rice risotto tonight.
Then I do believe I can relax for the evening.
Well... once I've hung out a load of washing that is. ๐ฉ
Oh that cute little train looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteLoved the train rides! GEEZZZZ Dante is sure growing up fast! Griffin is just sooo handsome-do you have to beat the girls off with your broom yet??? I am so glad that little miss Keera had a turn around and could enjoy herself. Maybe she burned off some of that energy with the other children? LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely family day out, just what you all needed. Those boys get cuter every day :-)
ReplyDeleteThe train rides looked fab, what a neat day as a BOY to putter on trains and the not so boys/men too, lovely photos. Glad everyone had a wonderful time. It's me Blondie
