Beautiful Coco after her groom!
ABOVE: I had to trim her ears and tail, as they were too long. But, apart from that, it's a good groom.
I love seeing the dogs freshly groomed, particularly when it's summer and so hot.
Stew and I have no plans for today at all. So, it will probably be a laze around the pool day.
Well... after I get the housework done, cos that never ends.
It's a long weekend, Monday is a public holiday. So, three days to just relax really.
Bloody hell. Stew just suggested we go for a walk along the river bank! So, looks like that's what we are doing this morning, before it gets too hot.
11.11 am: I DID NOT feel like walking this morning, not at all.
It was looking to be hot, and I cannot walk in hot weather.
But he was going, so I went too. ππ
AND... it was hot, but not so bad that I melted and got all annoyed.
I took a few photos, because it really is beautiful down by the river.
ABOVE: You would never know you were in a city, it was so quiet! Well, except for the cicadas, they were is full voice. One flew into my face, I had a mini freak out. π ππ
Now that we are home... we are watching the boys so Steve and Bex can pop over to Te Awamutu and pick up a couple of things from Bex's brother's home.
A swim is likely soon... cos I'm bloody hot still.
4.50 pm: Bex helped me tidy up my sewing back room this afternoon. Every time I went in there to start I just felt like crying. So it simply hadn't been done.
NOW.. it's all done and I feel so much better about it all.
I might even be able to do some actual sewing soon.
After I had finished, I was so boiling hot I got in the pool. Stew joined me and it was just perfect.
It is a life saver, I had such a thumping headache from the heat. Now ? Gone.
Stew and I are having left over pies with salad for dinner, so I don't even have to cook tonight.
Aww that wee fluffy baby
ReplyDeleteSuper cute
Have a fab day
Cheers π₯
Nawww she's gorgeous π we're off to a blues concert this afternoon but it's drizzling let's hope it buggers off soon!!
ReplyDeleteSo funny. I just had my Shih tzu groomed to look like Coco's BEFORE picture. He needs to keep warm. He will get shorter when it warms up.
ReplyDeleteDid you see/hear the breaking news possible corid case in Hamilton
ReplyDeleteYes. Someone who got out of Managed Isolation, tested negative while in Quarantine in Pullman hotel. But did SELF ISOLATE once released, so there is little chance of spread here in Hamilton. ( gosh I hope so!)
DeleteThat scenery is wow factor so beautiful and peaceful
ReplyDeleteSo happy you enjoyed it

Beautiful photos Chris. It is a beautiful walk. kj
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely walk so close to home.
ReplyDeleteBear with me Chris, I have had a crazy idea.
ReplyDeleteWould you consider joining a choir? Cambridge has a modern rock choir. My mum just joined one in Dunedin. You love your music, and they do popular songs and there are no auditions. Just singing with friends one night a week. I know you now live in Hamilton, but you might find something like it interesting?

I'm in a choir in Melbourne and it has really saved my sanity, in terms of meeting people and also just helping with my mental health, which is mainly good these days, but has been up and down.
Just an idea. Love Penny x
You have clearly never heard me sing babe! I can't. Nice idea though, and I'm so happy it has helped you.
DeleteI know how you feel about the messy space! My ceramic studio is so bad I want to excavate it and start over. So messy. Disorganized, clutter, junk.... It is really getting to me! Funny how you can put up with something for ages. Not even think about it. Then, all of a sudden, it HAS to be fixed immediately! Or else.....
DeleteWhat a gorgeous area for walking in. Beautiful photos π
ReplyDeleteDid you get my emails? Kj
ReplyDeleteOh sorry chick, we were out walking when they came in. Then I got distracted with family/tidying the sewing room and dinner! Thank You so much for sending them to me.
DeleteThat's good. Glad I could help. Hope there are some you like.
