BACK TO WORK

Today Steve goes back to work after taking a week off to be with Bex and their newborn son Archer.
I know he would rather be here with them, but ... bills to pay, nappies to buy! lol

It's all a part of life isn't it.  We have been there, done that a few times more than the 'average' family.

I don't have much planned for the day.  I will do some housework, then maybe cut out the next block for my quilt.
I'm going to Patchwork class tonight, so will get dinner on early for the family.

It's going to be a pea 'n' bacon soup with fresh breads.   (Stew, bring some fresh breads home would ya!)  *smiles*

Now... some more baby photos... cos well... we have a baby!

ONWARD...

So... today has gone as planned.  Got a few jobs done... cut out my next block.
And then ... well... I sewed it up:

ABOVE:  It isn't the one I had planned on doing, cos I have to find 'templates' for the heart block I was going to make.  
Which means a search on the net again.

Might just do that right now, so I can perhaps make it tomorrow.

So...patchwork class was good tonight.  I learnt a new technique too, which always makes me happy.
I hot one block cut out and sewn and another just cut out, so will do that one tomorrow.

End of Day:  a good day in all.  Steve got home knackered from being back on the job after a week off.
