PRESS REPEAT

Well... today will be a repeat  of yesterday.

Kids to school then up to the hospital to visit Steve.

Midday Bex and I might just pop over to St Luke's mall as I'd like to find another very lightweight top to wear while I'm over in Australia.

I've got two already and virtually live in them... they are just so comfortable.

So hopefully they are still in stock. Then we will pick up the boys... have an early dinner and then go back to the hospital.

ABOVE: Steve last night... he seemed way more comfortable...  and himself again.

Maybe when we go up today we will have more definitive good news?

It's really hard having your emotions on such a pendulum! So yeah... would be bloody awesome to get good news.

ABOVE:The little boys with Starship Children's Hospital to the left and a nice view of Auckland harbor and Rangitoto Island.

And now...  I'm gunna go start the day.

Onward...

So..it's  11.28 am and we are at the hospital.  He's soooooo much better this morning! Cracking jokes and eating a bit.

I bought three more lightweight tops at the mall this morning too. So no more washing and drying overnight.

Lol... I tried a dress. Yeah NAH... I'm not a dress person. *smiles*
ABOVE: First time in days I put some makeup on. Much improved!

1.58 pm and Bex and I are home from the hospital.  Steve is doing heaps better today. There is even talk of him going home... maybe by Sunday.  Such good news.

Today he got a lovely phone call from his brother Mike...it cheered him up no end.  And then our gorgeous friend Jacqui arrived to visit as well.

Lovely to see her. I'd hoped to see her on Wednesday while in Tauranga... but shit happened and that never eventuated.

Funny story: walking back to our cars... get in the elevator and I'm telling Bex and Jacqui about me little problem. My knickers keep falling off me bum. And they STUPIDLY tell me to shush cos there's a youngish man in the elevator with us.

Ummmm like really? So I look at him and say "You don't mind knowing me knickers are falling off me bum, do ya?"

He just looked a bit surprised then shook his head and said NO.

Like seriously... what else could he say?

It was funny. Bex and Jacqui were just a bit embarrassed.  Mission accomplished.

Never tell me to shush. It's  like a challenge.  Lol

8.48 pm.  Home from the hospital again.  I found a way to keep the boys quiet. I'll  show you tomorrow.
Steve was a bit less happy tonight. His stomach was a bit sore. His gut has to get used to food again, and he moved around more today. So it's going to be a few more days until he's back to 'normal'.

Now finally ... the boys are in bed and we can relax before bed.
