ALMOST DONE!

As I said late yesterday, Stew and I worked all day to get a trailer load of stones and pavers around our pool.

I took a video when we were finished for the day:

ABOVE: I have to laugh, cos once I was inside the name of those glass 'things' came to me straight away.  Buoys!  Or Glass floats.

Stew is back at work today, not sure if Brylee is working today or not.  So, it might just be me here today.
And that's fine cos I have a cot quilt to make in a hurry.  It's got to go to Taupo in a few days!

Virtually every home we have bought, I've planted a grape vine, as we love grapes.

Same in Cambridge, I had planted a vine and got a handful of grapes last summer.  I was looking forward to our crop this summer, but then we moved again!

But, first time ever, we moved into a home that already had a healthy grape vine.

And...

ABOVE:  Look at that!  Our first bunch, picked and eaten last night.  They were super juicy and sweet.

And on that happy note, I'm off to the Sewing Studio to do some work.

ONWARD...

11.03 am:  and I had to go grocery shopping.  *sigh* We have visitors this weekend (the kids), so I thought it prudent to do a shop.
And while I raved about the Clarence Street Pak and Save last time due to the price differences... today I was just pissed off.

They have a really good meat department, WHICH I LOVE.  But seriously, that's about it.
They were still stocking shelves when I was there at 9 am, and it was bloody annoying trying to work around them.  There were so many gaps on the shelves ... so many things I actually wanted to get were not there at all.

Even basics like the tomato sauce we get, frozen veges, mayo, and so on.  I am gunna have to go out again later and get all the things they didn't have from another supermarket.

***  NO dead fish again today ***
Must be doing something right?
Like ignoring them... ha ha ha.

I'm now taking a break before heading off to the Studio to work on that cot quilt.

ABOVE:  I've been working on this cot quilt for about 4 hours.  It's stifling in the studio, so I've finally relented and turned on the air con.  Waiting for it to kick in...

So handy having the computer out here with me... I just went to YouTube to work out how to set the air con to cool!

Now... back to me sewing.

9.30 pm:  And I stopped sewing at dinnertime. Very happy with how much I got done today.
Now?  Watching Coronation Street OF COURSE!  lol
Time to sign off for the day... catch ya tomorrow.
