HAMILTON PATCHWORK GROUP?

Well, after yesterday's strange day, I'm hoping today is a normal one.

After getting the kids off to school/kindy I will be coming home and packing my sewing stuff up, ready to head into Hamilton for patchwork group.

Maybe this time I will actually get there.

When I get home I will start making a list of things I need to get done/do before we head down to Palmerston North on Friday.

All going well that is.  Who knows, we might have more earthquakes and end up not being able to go?  Many roads in the South Island are badly damaged from Sunday night's earthquakes, so who knows what can happen before Friday.

But for now... I'm off to get started on today.

ONWARD...

2.38 pm:  Well today's gone to plan so far.
Patchwork was nice, lots of talk about the earthquake, as anticipated.
Then I went to Amanda's for a bathroom stop and quick catch up.

Then I went to Bunnings in Hamilton and picked up the hedge trimmer Stew ordered.  We need one here!

Then home for lunch and then I went to my appointment at Sport Waikato.
I shall be starting Aqua aerobics tomorrow I think.

Now it's time to catch up on Home and Away, before heading out to pick up the kids.

9.37 pm:  Well it has been a very quiet afternoon and evening.  I'm going to do my best to get to bed early tonight, because I have this overwhelming tiredness.  Most likely caused by going to bed too late, and not getting a good sleep.

  1. They showed some pictures of it in our news in the US - it looks absolutely horrible . I am so very glad that none of you got hurt -or even lost your home. Wouldn't that be devastating after all the hard work it took to get your new beautiful home.
