ROUND TWO...

Ok, another day of house hunting.... had a few tears yesterday, couldn't help myself.... it is so depressing!

Today I have only two !!! lined up worth looking at, don't even know if it will be worth it cos so many look "OK" on the net but in real life are bloody awful!

And the agents use tricky photography to make a house look bigger than it acutually is! Wide angle lenses and the like, it's just so frustrating!

Yesterday I looked at a house that in it's photos looked really huge, but inside.... NOT AT ALL! That is when I first cried!

I am starting to really realise that we are going to have to 'downsize' from 320 m2 to about 200 m2 !!! This means a good half of my house furniture etc will have to be sold. I think I might cry again.....

And.. I am hating not having the time to read all your blogs! I havn't read any since I left home! I am using my Auntie's computer, so no favourites list... nothing! So, I apologise for not popping by to leave any comments ...... just don't have time! Wait till I get home! later ....

  5. awww, sorry to hear your not having a fun time of property hunting. The market went crazy a couple of years ago
    and prices are depressing.
In 2000 I bought a nice four bedroom double story place with two lounges and a gorgeous view for $280,000 in Titirangi now that same house is on the market for $599,000 with a note on the add saying its $20,000 below the current valuation. (drat, should have held onto it for a bit longer. lol).
My parents live in the gardens and its a lovely area in South Auckland. All the mod cons but not as big as what your used to. (around 240 I think) but they paid $559 for it last Christmas through the homesell private sale site so no big fee's for the seller).
Don't despair, something will come along.
I've only just logged back on-line after having the week from hell. (very envious of you getting movers to do everything for you).
I've finally moved into my new pad and just love being here. Have a ton of blog reading to catch up on and must write an update myself.
Take care, everything will work out.
