MONDAY.
My day to get lots done around the house. Usually it's washing, vacuming, cleaning, tidying up and so on.
But I did most of it yesterday so I'm going to make a start on making some runners for my bedroom.
ABOVE: I've found heaps of blue fabrics to use... 75% of them are left over from the blue Dresden Plate Quilt I made for our bed a few years ago.
ABOVE: That's it there, on the bed in the front bedroom.
ABOVE: Keera, having a fantastic time on the farm yesterday with her Mum.
Better get up now... I've got to get that child off to school in the next hour or so.
9 am: smooth as this morning. Clockwork in fact. Our granddaughter is safely at school and I'm now home awaiting the arrival of the parcel that didn't arrive on Friday.
With any luck it will be here today.
It's a miserable morning, started with fog and is supposed to progress to gale force winds and rain. WONDERFUL.
Just as well I have plenty of space to dry clothes inside.
It only takes a couple of days in the garage.
Well! No gale force winds or rain !
So much for the weather forecast.
Anyway... I've kept myself busy today.
I went to town (read, the mall), and picked up a few groceries.
Took myself for a nice walk around my area.
Marley came with me.
Coco? Nope. She is having a bit of trouble with her chest. I'm pretty sure she has a collapsing trachea.
It's fairly common in small dogs.
It's steadily getting more frequent during the day.
Something to keep an eye on.
I have not done any sewing. I just looked at the fabric and thought ... YEAH NAH. Not in the mood today.
I have prepared Teriyaki Chicken for dinner. I should get some rice on soon too.
Stew and I are now going to relax for the remainder of the evening.
Catch ya tomorrow.
Oh NO! Getting up for school! How did that happen!!???
