LET'S MAKE A HOUSE EH!

So... today as soon as the kids have gone to school I'm getting out the clay.

And I'm gunna make a house.  Neat eh?

I've got a rough idea how I want it to look... after looking at dozens of ideas on Google Images and Picasa.

I won't show you the pictures or you might expect something AMAZING from me... and well... I ain't made anything in clay for a bloody long time and would hate to disappoint anyone!

And there won't be much to show for a while as it will take a while to get all the parts assembled.

In the meantime... I'm sure you can all go about your daily business just fine.

ONWARD...

1.21 pm:  been playing with clay:

ABOVE: And I've come to the point where I have to wait for the walls to firm up before I can work on the roof.

That will possibly be tonight, or tomorrow at the latest.

I'm now going to take a break and have some lunch.

What have you been doing?

5.23 pm:  *BIG SMILE*... thanks for the kind words... BUT.... the bloody thing ain't finished YET!
Wait till then.... cos it will look different for sure.

Dinner is cooking, I'm making a pie.

Made the best pie ever tonight!  I will show you tomorrow what sort it was.

End of Day:  well I sure had forgotten how much fun it was mucking around with clay... AND how dry it makes your hands!  Ikkk... they feel dreadful.
Off to put some moisturiser on before going to bed.
nite nite

  3. I love the house....
Me, I have been wasting time on the computer although I have folded one load of washing as I took it off the line and put another load on the line.
I always fold clothes as I take the off the line and put them in individual piles in the basket
