IT'S COMING ALONG....

I'm off to Patchwork class in Papakura today.. I will be working on the 2nd Frangipani Wall Hanging. I have made a start on the satin stitch.... It amazes me how the black stitching just makes the whole thing POP out! I love this technique.

  9. I would like to comment, but I don't know what to say. (speechless, I know its hard to believe, but unless a person's got a spare 24 hours to sit and listen to me dribble on about all the current ups and downs in my life, (which I'm aware people would be snoozing within 15mins, then it doesn't leave me alot to talk about at the moment.

Umm,,, what can I say. Well I'm back, alive and well. Weather is lovely. I WONT be moving to Nelson and I'm fine with that decision as I just don't feel like its right for me. (lovely guy, but don't think we are suited long term).

Umm,,, what else. Oh, I'm getting three new lambs later this week. (have to buy some in because my girls all had boys this year, which means I won't have any replacement ewe's for next year. Real pain but fortunately its the first year its ever happened so hope its just a one off. I am getting three wee ones so will be bottle feeding 4 x a day to start with. (arrrrgh, early morning and late night feeds are not my thing. Hope E thinks they are cute enough that she can be responible for them and their feeding requirements. lol

    Have a great week.

  15. Hi Chris - It's Labor Day Weekend here in the states. Perhaps a number of us Americans aren't on the computer, but rather at the beach enjoying our last hurrah before school starts. So, perhaps that's your comment dilemma. I noticed you posted quilts, dogs and kids, but no pottery?! Waiting to see your beautiful work! Bobbie
