SNIFF, COUGH... PASS THE NUROFEN EH?

Friggin colds... NOT NICE. And that's all I have to say about that.

TODAY:
- kids to school.
- Manukau for material.
- Papakura for quilt wadding.
- Syliva Park just for the hell of it.

MULTI COLOURS... COS I CAN... so there!

Life can get boring....but only if you let it!

There, wasn't that fun? I'm going to do me bit of shopping, then come home, do some more housework, then settle down to do some sewing... I hope to get Brylee's quilt finished this week, and spend next week sewing on all the buttons!

When I showed the patchwork ladies Brylee's quilt yesterday, they were IMPRESSED with me efforts... and with the button idea... I knew it would work but wanted their opinions just in case it was 'wrong' to do what I wanted to do..... YOU buggers will have to wait now to see the finished result... WITH BUTTONS... nah nah na na.

My next quilt is called "Storm at Sea"... and it will look NOTHING like the above ! ha ha ha. (but it's a pretty picture eh?)

ONWARD....

Woo hoo... got it all done... ahhh retail therapy does the soul good.... now? Gunna put me feet up for a while and just relax. No sewing, no housework... NOTHING.

I picked up the kids after school and popped over to Manukau to get some stuff... I got outta the car and it's blowing a gale... this guy comes up to me trying to sell me car cleaner.... and WHOOSH~! My dress blows right up to me boobs... knicker flasher if ever I saw one! The guy goes bright red and stammers.... I guess you don't want to buy my car cleaner then? LOL.... I don't know who was more embarrassed... me or him... All I can say is "Thank god I had on pretty knickers"!

So in future on windy days I will NOT be wearing this dress... it's really lightweight!

That might be the highlight of me day...

End of Day: it's been a quiet afternoon, evening...... Stew was rather late home so it was an easy dinner tonight, spagetti and spuds! Kids like it anyway. nite nite.

  5. Hope you feel better soon Chris.

I have had trouble leaving comments on your blog. It comes up with a message that it couldn't go through. Not sure if anyone else is having problems.

I tried to comment the other day about how much I love Brylee's quilt. It looks unreal. Can't wait to see the finished product.
