SO MUCH TO SAY....

Firstly, we are having the most AMAZING hail storm right now (9.30 am) !!!!
The difference from one minute (above) to the next (below)!!!

AWESOME !.... I love storms.

Before that.... I had a good night, woke a few times but it was so neat to be in my own bed again.... all comfy and warm.
Stew had fed and watered me, tendered to my every need... what a man.
I'm sitting up in me bed like a tart, laptop at hand, pills, books, ipod, camera, phone, drinks ... you get the drift? Heeee heee. Might just make the most of this.

I have no plans for the day except at some point having a shower and washing me hair.... can't keep looking so dreadful eh? Might even put some makeup on!!! Shock horror, that will frighten the face....lol.

Gawd it's so nice to be home again.

Sadly I have to report that I STILL have NO desire to drink my DIET COKE... I'm sure my body is in withdrawal.... must try to rectify this soon.... so NOT good for me!
For the second time in 6 years it has snowed on the hills surrounding Palmerton North!!! These hills can be easily seen from our home:
And here's me and our little Teddy, I am feeling much better after getting me 'face on' (makeup!) lol.
I'm knackered now so am going to have a sleep.....
I have been reading blogs for the past 4 hours, that is it~ I'm done! If I missed you... sorry.... just can't do any more. I've had a relaxed day in all.... still very sore and sorry for myself, but every day will get better I'm sure.
End of Day: it's been long, quiet and still thrilled to be home.
NSV: my appetite is coming back thank goodness, you don't actually lose weight when you are sick ... just water and muscle mass. bummer.
nite nite.

  2. Enjoy the rest while you can!!

I'm really glad you're feeling better.

Lucky thing, having a hailstorm. We haven't had any rain here for weeks ... well I do live in a desert :-)

It's also really hot, temps are in the 90's. We'll be in the 100's next week.

I never , ever thought I would say that I would get bored with sunny days. But when you get nothing but, it really does get a bit depressing...

  13. With the kids on school holidays, I have been a slack blog reader. I couldn't believe all that you have been through. I am very relieved that you are home safe and sound. I am sorry for your ordeal - what a scary time you've had. You have a wonderful man in your husband and it's great to know you are being taken care of. Relax and concentrate on getting better.

It must be soooo cold. It's been freezing here today too.

I'm glad you are relaxing and taking it easy Chris. Don't do too much.

  18. Welcome back! You look so good! Love the teddy bear...

Wow, that is one quick hail storm, impressive in speed and size. We had one back about a month ago and the kids were super excited trying to collect pieces of it.

Did I mention it was nice to see you back at home?

  20. Chris, Sorry that I didn't know about all the emegency stuff. It sounded REALLY bad. I truly am glad that you're feeling better. You look great in the photo.

If you give up Diet Coke, you'll have to change the name of your blog.

Thanks for going on egg hunts over at my blog. Don't "hate" me. Blame the egg.

  21. I see you all the time at KJ's. Sorry to read you have been so sick. I need a new hiney too but after reading about yur experience and knowing all the grim details of what can happen I think i'll wait.
Giving up diet coke can really help you loose weight. Water.
    feel better soon!

  22. Aww... Chris, you look beautiful! The hills surrounding your home are breathtaking. What is wrong with these people, not buyin' your house??? You have a way better view than I do. Best I can do is my neighbours' concrete "Virgin Mary" statue or the other neighbours letting their boys mow the lawn with no shirt on (sorry, that's a pet peeve of mine).
