PHOTOGRAPHER HERE

Today is the last day we are listed with our current Real Estate Agency.  Hopefully they come today and take down their signs, and return our house key.

At midday I have a photographer arriving to take new photos. We could have used the photos taken by the last guy, but I decided I wanted new ones, hopefully taken from different aspects, to reflect our new start.

ABOVE:  This is the only photo I want to add in from the 'old' ones, which was taken with a drone.

ABOVE:  To change it up a bit, I've switched the bedding on this bed.

ABOVE:  And of course, the 'heart wall' in our bedroom is gone, replaced by a cute cow painting.

ABOVE: This is on the sewing table today... it feels much better working on a runner in these colours!

I probably won't get around to working on it some more until this afternoon, once the photographer has been and gone.

Another last minute adjustment...

ABOVE: I decided to change the bedding on this bed as well.

ABOVE:  Now it's lighter and brighter.  I didn't have a pink cushion cover for the little cushion, so quickly whipped one up.
Sure helps having a good stash of fabric to choose from.

Now, what's next?

I am DYING to rip the Bayleys billboard out of the ground...  but can't cos technically they still have our listing until midnight tonight.
And knowing 'K', it won't get taken down today, or even tomorrow.
Never mind, I will rip it out at midnight!  Just watch me.  πŸ˜‚πŸ˜

DAMMIT!   I just went and checked out how well that billboard is anchored to the ground... and there is NO WAY IN HELL I will be able to remove it myself.  IT'S  SOLID AS A BRICK SHITHOUSE.
I will have to leave it up to 'K' to get it removed after all.   If it's not gone by tomorrow, I will get our new agent to contact her to have it removed.
Last thing I want is to have two sets of Estate Agency signs out the front of the house.  Grrrr.
LEGALLY, it has to be gone by midnight tonight.

10.45 am, and I finally have the house 'photo ready'.  Just tweaking here and there, and taking all the Christmas Decorations away.  I put them in the garage.  They can go back in the lounge and family room once the photos are done.
I am feeling a bit 'alone' right now.... where is everyone?
DOGSTARS?  You've been very quiet the past few days ... what ya doing? I hope you are off having an adventure!

ABOVE:  WOW!  'K' got something done on time.  And all my worrying about that bloody billboard was for nothing.  Derrr.
Now we are clear to put up new signs tomorrow.

12.15 pm:  And the photographer arrived an hour ago, took his photos and left.  I told him I really liked the aerial photo taken by the previous photographer, and perhaps we could use it again?

ABOVE:  Challenge accepted it would appear, cos he got his drone out and took his own. lol

Now I can put back the Christmas stuff, bins etc.

Proud moment today... the photographer went out to take a photo of the pool.  He got up on the deck and said "Oh wow, lovely clear pool!"
I take all credit for that pool being so pristine.

ABOVE:  Well I managed to get one more runner finished today.  I'm now seeing double, which means I need to stop.

I think I shall ask Stew to take me out to dinner this evening.  It's been a little while since I had my favourite Indian dinner.

Dinner... was lovely.  After dinner we came home and just chilled out.  Now I'm watching Coronation Street before heading off to bed.
It's been a long day!
It's not fun having to get the house photo ready I tell ya!

When we moved to New Hampshire, our rental had an above ground pool. We could not figure out how to get the water totally clear and the owner had not left any instructions. I have sympathized with you every time you mentioned the color of the pool water!! I love the calmer colors of the bedding you now have. They really change the effect in the bedrooms.

  12. It's very cool that realtors can easily whip out a drone and get areal shots. The house is looking good. I hope switching agents helps. It really is a fantastic house there should be no problem!
