AND IT STARTS AGAIN

No rest for the wicked it would seem.

We have a private viewing of the house later on this morning.  That was fast eh?

Luckily the house is already 95% ready to view, I just have to make our bed, give the bathrooms and kitchen a wipe over, and get Coco out of the house.  I can drive down the road with her and sit it out while the viewing is going on.

I will know very quickly if it's a good viewing, or a NO.  You can tell... by how long they stay in the house.  The longer they stay, the better.

I'll let ya know how it goes.

Until then, here's some cute photos from last night:

ABOVE:  This little miss is just so damn cute!  She loves playing with the little netting square.

ABOVE: Griffin eating pizza, and the girls trying to beg for some.  They didn't get any I might add, Griffin has a monster appetite!  Some things don't change.  πŸ˜‹πŸ˜Š

Now... I better get a move on... catch ya later.

8.45 am:  And it's all ready, except for the sewing room.
AND I've just finished another runner top.

ABOVE:  The one on the left if totally finished, the other three need to be quilted and bound yet.
I will work on them later on today.
For now... I'm done making a mess, time to vacuum the floor, put away the sharps etc.

UPDATE:  The viewers stayed almost half an hour in the house, and are 'interested' enough to put a Registered Interest in with the agent.
That means they have to be notified if anyone else wants to make an offer.
So while it's not an offer today, it is a positive move.

Now we have to look forward to an Open home on Saturday and Sunday, before we have a break until mid January.

Steve dropped off the Family Christmas Ham... so that's good.  One more thing sorted for Christmas Day.

I got in the car just now, with a mind to go buy something for my lunch.  Turned the car on... then sat there and thought "What am I doing?  I'm not even hungry!"
So I turned off the car and came back inside.

I think I'll have a quite hour or two before heading into the sewing room.

Minor panic this afternoon.
The viewers asked about the pool's compliance.
Did we have a permit etc?
I wasn't sure!
But Stew assured me I did get it signed off before they put it in.
BUT, the Council are supposed to do a Compliance Check once every three years, and THAT has not been done.  (not our fault)
So, an inspector is coming out on Monday morning to do that.
We should be OK, it is compliant.
But,  until I get the confirmation email... I will sweat a bit.

Weird, we didn't have to do this with the pool in Cambridge at all.  But then, that was a different Council.  πŸ˜–πŸ˜•

Now... it's 1.36 pm, and I still don't feel like heading into the sewing room.  So maybe I won't!  lol

7.44 pm:  this afternoon I crashed.  Literally felt ill and dizzy.  So I took a nap.  For 2 hours!
Then Stew arrived home and we decided to go out for dinner.
We ended up at Burger Fuel, and their burgers were AMAZING!
I keep forgetting how good they are.

ABOVE:  So, so yum. And filling!
We are now home, full as a bull and just blobbing out for the evening.
Catch ya tomorrow.

  11. Hey, if they are asking these questions about the house, it is very positive. I wouldn't want a house where the pool is a problem, so they're probably just being cautious - fingers crossed for you they want the house after Christmas so you can enjoy it for a bit :)

Something about those four runners laid out like that are just wowing me!!! If I owned all four of those, I would hang them up on the wall in just that way!! That's probably a kind of dumb idea from a decorating point of view, but these runners all together like this just make me feel happy and wonderful!!
