LODGE TEAM COMING THROUGH

Tiresome.

Another day where I have to get up and ensure the house is 100% ready for showing.

But not for potential buyers.

It's for all the Real Estate agents from the new Agency to come through and have a gawk.

It's essential, as any one of them could have a client (now or in the future), who might want to see our home.

ABOVE: There's two small, temporary signs out the front of our house now.

Could be a bit awkward later on today.  'K', our previous Real Estate Agent is coming around sometime today to return our house key.

Whoops.   I hope she drops the key and leaves quick smart!  😳😖

ABOVE:  All the new photos are now online, along with our listing.  We are very happy with the new photos.

ABOVE: I saw this on Facebook last night, and thought, yep.  I am definitely onto the last step!
I reckon once we have moved, and I get to go through all the boxes I've already packed up and put into storage, I will be getting rid of half of it.
Seriously, so much stuff you keep 'just in case' you need it.  But you really don't.

The ONLY thing I have missed is a baking tin!  And I had to buy one, cos there was no way I could remember what box our existing one was in!

I'm really looking forward to taking the de-cluttering to the next, extreme level.  But for now, I just have to be patient.
Not my strongest suit, but maybe one day?  lol

Right... I better get out of bed and get the house spic 'n' span.  It will be interesting to see how many agents come through this morning.

7.54 am, and the house is ready.
Now I am going to do a bit of sewing, to kill time.
Once the agents have all been and gone, I'm going out to get some flea treatment for dogs.   Coco may have fleas, of it's just a seasonal allergy.  I'm covering all the bases.

11 am:  Well, that's over I think.  18 Agents came through the house.  Most said something nice about the house, some just raced in and out again.  Very typical 'Caravan' of Real Estate people.

Now I can go around and turn off all the lights, and get on with my day.

Though, I did sew for most of the time it was going on, and I got another runner top almost finished.  So, not a wasted morning.

11.46 am:  I've just been to the supermarket for flea shampoo, and a few odds 'n' ends.
Strolling past the Deli where the specialty cheeses are... and wow!

ABOVE:  They had my most favourite MERSEY YALLEY cheese!  First time I've ever seen it in any shop.  The only time  I've ever had any was when we saw, and bought it, at the Home Show a few months ago.

ABOVE: Needless to say, I bought some.
AND I might go back next week for a few more!
It is a very strong flavour, which I enjoy heaps.

Now, I'm going to have some lunch, then get back in the sewing room I think.

5 pm:  And I've managed to get another runner top done, ready for quilting and binding, and start another one.
Stew just got home, so we are off to the pub shortly.

I have been waiting all day for 'K' to drop our house key back to us.  She's a no show by the look of it.  Not very professional of her I must say, but hey... par for the course.   I hope she drops it off while we are out, otherwise I will be ringing her tomorrow.

I have spent a very pleasant few hours at Steve 'n' Bex's.  Griffin and Tash arrived to visit as well. They were over from Tauranga to get some car parts.  Stew came back to the kid's house to see everyone, then we came home.
So, a really lovely evening.

I'm now feeling wrung out.  It feels like it's been go, go, go all week!
Looking forward to bed I must say.

Catch ya tomorrow.

    1. Each to their own. I love it's texture, it's great for sprinkling over a salad, or smearing on crackers or toast.
