First off for today... the Aussy Family.
Someone asked me yesterday why I no longer had Tess in the photo with Russ and kids?
Simple. Tess and Russell have split up. It looks to be a permanent split.
And that is all I shall say on the subject.
TODAY is Day 30 !!!
I can stand on the scales... and see how well I have done. Or not.
If it's not kinda what I HOPE... all is not lost!
I will just aim to do better for the next 30 days!
I didn't re-gain the weight in 30 Days, so I sure in hell won't lose it in 30 Days either!
As long as I do my best, I can be happy with myself.
POSITIVE thinking... POSITIVE attitude...POSITIVE RESULTS.
Now, as it's still rather early in the morning, and I always retain fluid over the course of the previous evening, I shall be stepping on the scales AFTER I've had me piddle pill, so around LUNCHTIME.
I hope I can hang out that long, and YOU too ? ... *smiles*
ABOVE: Stew saying hello to Dante when he got home from work last night. So lovely ... he dotes on his grandkids... hmmm, actually he dotes on ALL BABIES!
We can be at a foodcourt in a mall and he is sitting near a baby... and he just can't help himself. He talks to anyone's baby! Once a young Mum got concerned and turned her baby's highchair around so Stew couldn't talk to her baby!!! lol
We have no plans as such for the day... probably do the housework then some sewing. I've still got those three bags to finish...
ONWARD...
So... 11.30 and I couldn't wait any longer!
DRUM ROLL PLEASE: ............
I LOST 8 KILOS in my first 30 Days!!!!!
That is 17.6 pounds
That is 17.6 pounds
To say I am thrilled to bits would be an understatement. I'm utterly wrapt.
I have to tell you this. It is AMAZING weighing only 'monthly'... or every 30 days like I am doing!!!
I feel like crying... it is just so good to see such a massive loss in 30 days! AND... I did not starve, I still ate carbs, I had one day 'off' a week and I still lost 8 kilos!
Oh the suspense................
ReplyDeleteOh Chris, I am so sorry about Russ and Tess. They looked so happy together especially at Christmas time at your place. I am very sorry!

Congrats. I lost nothing so far.
ReplyDeleteWhat does Anon mean about Russel? Either? who else is anon referring to?
ReplyDeleteI also agree with the comment regarding that your tone has been so much better lately :) Nice
Some other people would have a tone in their writing if they had to endure what Chris has had to deal with,
ReplyDeleteHey Chris - would you mind writing the main changes that you have made to lose this weight? I would love to read what you have done! Thanks
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic result, it was great to hear the other day when youn mentioned clothes fitting better, that was a good sign. I need to take a leaf out of your book and stay away from the scales :) big hugs, a job well done.
ReplyDeleteOh Chris, that's fantastic. I think I'm gonna start calling you Droopy Draws! If you keep shedding pounds like that, you won't be able to keep your draws on!
ReplyDeleteIrena, Greece
I did not mean anything negative when I said "tone". I meant she has sounded more positive lately. It was a compliment. Wrong choice of word no doubt - but the rest of my comment I thought would show that I was not having a dig.
ReplyDeleteTo Anonymous, my comment wasn't toward you at all, you said it in a nice way, I know exactly what you meant,Chris does sound happier.
ReplyDeleteThanks Magpie
ReplyDeleteWTG I'm so proud of you! Isn't it awesome to put the weight in perspective to the kids?? Every time I lift up a huge box of cat litter that says 28 pounds and I struggle to carry it around I remind myself that I lost almost double that. It's no wonder I was so miserable trying to cart that extra weight around!
ReplyDeleteBig congratulations well done!
ReplyDeleteWell done luv - 8 kilos is amazing :)
