ABOVE: Yaaa... after not working for years and years Steve managed to fix this lazy boy chair!
ABOVE: When he tipped the chair over this fell out... Ewwwww!
ABOVE: god knows how long it had been inside that chair.... but one thing's for sure....
ABOVE: he was quite 'squished' and dead! And mummified. No smell at all. But still friggin EWWWWWWWW.
TODAY: more jobs around here. I want to move some plants before they grow too big... Steve can help me with that.
I keep going on about doing some sewing... but it isn't happening. I keep getting sidetracked by other things.
Oh well... at least I'm keeping myself busy.
ONWARD...
JEANIE: Ha! I held it to take the photo, it was ikkkky!
Been a busy morning, worked out exact positioning for our sleep out... (if we get it)... then some boring housework.
Lunch.
Yakked to me girlfirend Chris D in Palmy.
Talked to a guy up North abut mating Coco to his dog... still in negotiations about that.
Now... watching GLEE which we taped last week... Steve and I love that show!
We are simply NOT vege growers... we tried it, with limited success, so I decided to turn the vege gardens back into normal gardens.... less than an hour ago this patch was just dirt:
ABOVE: and the best thing? NONE of these plants cost me a cent! Steve and I just pulled pups off our bigger succulents and there ya have it, an instant garden! Rather happy with that. Steve is like me, doesn't really like dirt... lol.
I'm not sure if I will put the same sorts of plants on the other side yet or go for miniature fruit trees. Will think on it...
End of Day: wild and windy weather out there tonight! Blowing a gale.... fingers crossed for thunder and lightening! I love a good storm.
DIET: nah
nite nite.

Eww! is right. Steve was pretty brave to hold it by the tail for you to take pictures.
ReplyDeleteEwww gross lol. Was that what was keeping it from working lol
ReplyDeleteUmmm ....you only found ONE? Don't they travel in groups? hahahahaha ..j/k
ReplyDeleteWe actually found a complete skeleton of a mouse under the floorboards ...it had probably been there for years!
You're so brave to touch it!
ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww go scrub yourhands LOL
ReplyDeleteBeen there , done that - no fun at all! Had one that I could smell in my bedroom. I LOOKED everywhere - the smell was overwhelming -probably because it was summer time.
ReplyDeleteBut then 6 months later when the wash machine went on the fritz and DH tore it apart to fix it - I had the same thing that you have-minus the smell-finally. :)
omg HILARO! i thought losing our dvd remote in our recliner for a year was funny! :-) San xx
ReplyDeleteOMG! I'd have gone running and screaming out of the house if I'd seen that dead mouse. I'm such a wimp I'd have never been able to pull it together to even take the photo. You're good Chris!
ReplyDeletexo jj
OMGosh, I'm sorry but I am laughing so hard...that's the flattest mouse I've ever seen! And the way it's mouth was open makes it look like it was screaming when he/she met his/her demise! (I know...I have a weird sense of humor!) :o)
ReplyDeleteXOXO,
Cyndi
At least he died in a comfortable chair! Make another succulent garden, then you won't have to water it much. WOMBAT
ReplyDeleteErrkkkk! Yukko! Reminds me of when our oven went on the fritz...repair man pulled the oven apart and found TWO dead mice who it looked like had been doing the wild thing amongst all the wires and they got fried. Needless to say I told the guy to dump the oven...no way I was gonna be cooking in that again! Ewwwwyyyy!
ReplyDeleteHa I'm the mouse and rat catcher in this house. I don't mind them dead either.
ReplyDeleteMiniature fruit trees!!! They would look great there....
ReplyDeleteOooh yes thunder & lightning, I love it when I am all warm & cosy in bed.
ReplyDeleteHoly shit - you never know what you're going to find when you turn a chair upside down Lol Zxx
ReplyDeleteOkay - that just freaked me out! I have goosebumps on my arms thinking about a mouse in a chair. Yuck!
ReplyDeleteWe find dead dried up geckos sometimes. And sometimes the geckos step across the voltage input terminals on our water heater and get fried. THAT stinks!
ReplyDeleteA Mouse-Ka-Bob!
ReplyDeleteWow that's really gross. But I kind of feel sorry for the mouse hehe
