LITTLE FINISH

This morning I'm off to Spotlight, to get some backing fabric to finish the Round Table Topper for our new dining suite.

I don't think we have EVER had a round dining table before.  Though it does extend to an oval as well.  It's just so cute.

Once I've finished the topper, I will show you all.  Then I shall probably turn around and make another couple for market.   It will be interesting to see if they get sold.

The new oven for our next home has arrived, so I will be picking that up while I'm out this morning.  Stew can get it out of me car when he gets home from work.

11.37 am: Just in from doing some errands out and about.  Got the backing fabric.  Got a few groceries, which I seem to do every second day now!  Sure beats doing a massive shop once a fortnight.
I'm now cooking some corn fritters for my lunch and Stew's dinner.  They look amazing.

After lunch I shall go into the sewing room and finish off that Round Table Topper.

ABOVE:  My corn fritter.  It has bacon, red onion, mint and parsley added.  It was very yummy.

ABOVE:  The finished Round Table Topper.  I'm very happy with it.

I have spent the last 3 hours cutting out pieces for the next two Round Table Toppers, which I will work on tomorrow.

Stew just arrived home from work. We have to get the Oven out of my car.  After that, it will be time to put our feet up and act like old fuddy duddies.

ABOVE:  Sorry, I forgot to show you what I used for the middle! There it is, very plain so it doesn't overshadow the other fabrics.

There is something very FREAKY happening in our Kitchen/Dining/Family room.  Literally freaking me out!  More about it tomorrow.  For now, I'm like just 100% freaked out.

And I'm outta here.
Catch ya tomorrow.

  8. I love the table topper. It's perfect regardless of what style of table you have. I think they would do great at the market.

I think that blue "other" worldly material that I like would go perfectly in the center and I don't think it would take away from the other materials. just my opinion. Ky Girl
