A LIST OF THINGS

Today I have quite a list of things to do, in readiness for our little trip away tomorrow.

First up, I need to put the memory foam topper pad back on the queen bed in the front bedroom, for Lacy to sleep on.

She is planning on staying here the entire time we are away, and also look after Coco.  So that's great.

After that, I'm doing a grocery shop, so Lacy has fresh food to eat while we are away.  I'm bound to chuck in a few treats for her and Keera too.

ABOVE: After the pub last night, we went over to our storage unit and found the suitcases.  So we don't have to use cardboard boxes now.

I will make a start on assembling the stuff we need to pack, take with us this morning.  I have me trusty list! lol

Once I've done that, I will continue working on the two Round Table Toppers I've got on the go.  They are looking good I must say.

It is now 12 noon, and I've been on the go all morning.

Things got switched over a bit in the order of 'doing stuff' today.

I did some packing, made up beds, then sewed up the two Round Table Toppers this morning.

ABOVE: They came out great.  Funny, in the photo one looks much smaller, but in reality, they are both a very similar size.  I was just closer to the one at the bottom.
Anyway, they are done and off my mind.

In answer to a question:

- NO.

Lacy's cat will be staying at her home, and the flatmate will feed her.  Lacy will pop in and out to keep an eye on things at her own place I'm sure.

I don't think Coco would do well with a cat in the house, not worried about the cat, more about Coco!  I think the cat would terrorise our Coco.  😂😅😉

I am now stopping for lunch.

Lunch is done.  So is the grocery shopping for the girls.  Now I can pretty much relax until I have to finish the packing before going to bed.

Oh and I'm happy to report... NO FLIES today.  Excellent.

7.41 pm, and we are all sorted for tomorrow.
We had dinner at Fergus Bar and Kitchen.  We hadn't been there for dinner, it was BUSY!  But we got served relatively quickly, so that was nice.  One of the owners is a neighbour of ours, that might have helped.  😊😋

I will probably head off to bed around 10, which is fairly early for me.  Catch ya tomorrow.

YES, it has been a super hot, humid day today.

What will Lacy do with her little kitty while at yours? Hopefully, if she brings her along, she doesn't get scared and copes ok. Maybe confine her to the bathroom or something? How exciting, going away. I'm off on a road trip to Queensland in a couple of weeks. Terribly excited for that! xx Colleen

  5. Love the table toppers. Good idea keeping the cat and Coco separate.
