My new puzzle is a BEAST!
It's gunna take me forever ... it's the biggest I've ever taken on, and it's just so difficult!
But, I'm loving it.
I'm so glad there are 'shelves' in the puzzle, it means at least you can section things off.
I'm having to use the picture to figure out where pieces go, there is NO WAY I could do this one without using the picture for help.
I've no housework today. The washing is all done for the next week, no bugger lives here who leaves shit lying around, it's wonderful. 😃😇😆
NOT that Brylee did that, I'm just remembering what it was like with lots of kids at home. CHAOS comes to mind.
I've told Brylee she can move home if she wants, if she's ever not happy where she is.
That's me.... always got the door open, even if it's just a crack! FOR SOME, not all! Let's not get carried away here.
I've had no more disturbing 'front door' episodes. I'm still a little perturbed by it, but well... nothing came of it, so I should not worry really.

ReplyDeleteSunday we did a zoom meet with our children, and talked abut puzzles, and puzzle boards, and the new boyfriend in the mix said he NEVER looks at the picture on the puzzle box, "That's cheating!" But the rest of us said, "Great for you, we'll use the picture because otherwise it would just get too hard and we want to accomplish something, not just experience more frustration." I never thought I would be able to do 1,000 piece puzzles again as my neck would hurt too much. But bitsandpieces.com has a tilting puzzle board, and I bought two, one for the pieces and one to build the puzzle on. They've been so nice! Last Christmas they came out with a tilting AND SWIVELING puzzle board, and I up and ordered one this morning because I already have two puzzles I have had to do sideways, and that was No Fun. Good luck with your puzzle doing! I so enjoy reading about you in the Land Down Under!

Well, I needed a tilting and swiveling tabletop board, so that's what I bought. It's the tilt I really need, the puzzle top lifts up and latches into the grooves so you don't have to hang your head over the flat surface of the puzzle pieces on the table. I look all over the internet for the puzzles, not just one company.
DeleteAs for Cheating with a Puzzle Picture - What about the children's puzzles that come with an exact sized poster of the puzzle, so you can do the puzzle directly on the poster......?
Do you or any of your neighbours have a security camera? If you remember approximately the time you heard the noise, you could check the footage to see if there was anyone about. It would set your mind at ease, I think.

Regarding your door opening....did you have new locks installed when you moved in? Maybe someone had a key to the house before it was sold and used that key to open the door and when he/she saw the interior then realized his/her friend/family had moved and they just took off!
