I AM A GODDESS

I'm sure!
Today I go for my second ever Mammogram... OH YAaaaa.

The last time I went was hysterical... I came out of the room where I'd been squished flat.... at the same time as another lady .. who was REALLY OLD... came out of her room and said "OOOO, I havn't had so much fun in YEARS!".... it totally cracked me up! Then she toddled back to her husband in the waiting room.. I swear she had a spring in her step! *smiles*

So, I'm not really looking forward to it.. not because of what it could show.. just the discomfort involved!

Apart from that... not much else on the horizon!

Totally exhausted.... emotional shit .... drags you down eh?

I am not having a good day. I am so over some stuff... some days I really love blogging, and other days (like today) I don't. It is a weird little world.... one that can trip you up sometimes... like leaving comments in support of a blogger, and unwittingly hurting someone else at the same time. I just don't like that. Pffffffft.

GOING PRIVATE END OF THE WEEKEND.... get your invite request in.

I'm feeling very nervous.. and I have to keep running to the loo... could my day get any BETTER?

YEP, so now I'm a Goddess with SQUISHED BOOBS. And it wasnt' that bad.... or horrid. Now I have a stress headache and I can't lie down or I'll go to sleep! CRAP CRAP CRAP.

End of Day: while in a shit mood, I stopped biting my tongue over another family issue and said my 10 cents worth! Whoops. I'm probably person non grata with that lot now too! nite nite!

  10. Hi Chris

I'm one of your readers who very rarely comments, so am not expecting an invite to the private blog as much as I would like it. Living overseas (am a kiwi) it was always nice to be able to read a kiwi blog and feel like there was one more connection back home. I just wanted to say thanks for letting me have the opportunity to read your blog up until now - I wish you the best of luck for the future - whatever that may hold for you.

  11. Once it's done, you won't have to worry about it agin for two whole years.
Relationships are hard at the best of times, even face to face you can say the wrong thing. Don't let that stop you supporting 'a blogger'
Ooops hope I didn't offend anybody lol

  12. Don't worry, it will soon be a thing of the past, and you won't need to think of it untill 2011. Thats 2 whole years away!
Keep supporting 'a blogger' they need it. The other person will just have to understand that it was 'unwittingly' and not take it to personally.

Hope I haven't offended anyone, just supporting Chris

  13. Depression, the blues, the blahs, they come and go. I'm sorry your having one of those days, but be glad to know that tomorrow it can be totally different. BTW, what does going private mean?

  14. I have yet to have a mammogram! I know I should (used to be an oncology nurse) but keep putting it off. Maybe I should add it to my list of things I MUST do next year.

Hope the tummy settles and the emotional shit goes away.

Your day will get better. :)

  15. .....sent an email (for blog request) not sure if it got to you? Would love to be able to keep on reading your FAB blog . Hope your mammogram went ok. I had one some years ago cos I had a lump (which was removed). I remember thinking, I wonder if men would like having one (putting their you know whats inbetween 2 metal plates and getting them squashed!) What women have to go through eh!. Hope your day improves/ed. XXCathy

    I can't imagine.

  17. You'd think they would have come up with a better way than the "squish" by now. Oh well, thanks for the reminder...I'm due.
    Then there's the colonoscopy...haha

  18. Ouch! I'm glad guys don't have to go through that.

  19. Glad the dreaded squish went well. Hope your mood improves as the day goes on. Stress does funny things to us all :) This bloody weather is even enough to cause it!!!

  20. Maybe he sold it! Maybe he sent it to New Zealand to be fixed.. on a bloody boat!

ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!! It may be a rough day for you - it was for me also - until I read your comment and I fell over laughing!

It is so nice to be able to sharing things like that that drive you nuts!
I did call the man on Mon. and he said maybe by this weekend. And everytime I went to beg - he had a bigger excuse why the hold-up. I am trying to hold my tongue so I won't make him angry and him do something to make me wait forever OR the machine not work right, after all this time.
I have learned IF I ever do get it back - It will not go back to his shop ever again???? Humm- unless it is February - that might give him time to fix it by November? Shoot , that still won't work because I have sewed all year long and still only got halfway finished. I was really counting on these last 3 months - which I do not have any more??? Do these "sewing machine doctors just think we have these machines only to look at every now and then????

OK, I have spouted off - thank you so much ! If only you knew how much good you do ! IF I had money I would pay you for being my therapist. LOL

Hope you next day is a great one!

I am another fairly long time reader who needs her daily fix of Diet Coke Rocks. I only read 3 blogs but have never left a comment before (I could try and change that). I understand if I don't get an invite - my hubby might even be glad :)

I love reading your blog as there is no bullshit, just you saying at you see it and I would miss it terribly

  25. Good on you for geting the mammogram, definitely not a pleasant thing to do and something I am dreading.

Count me in for the private blog if you have enough invites. I can see why you'd want to go private, there is so much we can bever say with certain eyes watching...

I have not commented in ages. I know BAD!

If you wouldn't mind sending me an invite to your private blog that would be great.

  28. I'm glad I only have to go once a year! I still believe in them, but I wish someone would come up with a more comfortable way of doing them!

Tried your email, chick, and it was returned. Will try again.

  29. Please invite me.......I understand the emotional crap....I'm there...bless your heart today or rather your boobs.....but you might get as much joy from it if you just lay down in your driveway and let your hubby back over them with the car.....
