FAT BELLY TALLULAH

HOW MANY PUPPIES ... HOW MANY???????

Today, 9.30 am to be precise, we will find out.

OMG so excited.  It's been an interesting journey so far... not sure she was pregnant at all to NOW... where we can see puppies moving inside her.

I'm hoping the Vet can email me a copy of her X-ray so I can put it on here.

We will be able to see the puppies ourselves then.

Stew is working in Greenlane (here in Auckland) today, so Keera and I will be joining him for lunch at the re-vamped McDonalds across the road from his office.

ABOVE: The 'new' McDonald's restaurant ... where you can create your own burger.  Should be interesting to see how it goes and if others change to this style of making burgers at McDonald's.

So, I will come back on here after we have been to the Vet's and let you all know how many puppies we are having!  Are you as excited to know as me???

ONWARD...

I would like to address some issues raised in yesterday's comments.

1. Yes, Lacy has gotten herself into a bad situation, and not for the first time.  But she is TRYING to work it out so her and Keera get a new home and can be together again.

2. When Lacy does get Keera back, we will be making sure she has a firm support system in place so she can cope with being a full time MUM again.

I hope that has resolved some people's issues.

Not that it's anyone's business but ours really!

COUNTDOWN to puppy number....

ABOVE:  6!  The Vet and I are both rather surprised at the number as Tallulah isn't that big!
But the heads don't lie, there's 6 in there.  Sheesh.

ANON and anyone else who thinks its their business...WINZ HAS been informed ALREADY and I have an appointment with them very soon.... and Lacy is doing the same... SO PULL YOUR F@#ing HEAD IN.

I  have had a lovely morning!  After the x-ray Keera and I went and picked up Dante and we all had lunch with Granddad at the 'new' McDonalds.
We didn't order a 'create your own' burger ... it was SOOOO busy there!  We just got regular McD's and the two littlies had a whale of a time in the playground.

Then we took Dante home and now... Keera is having a sleep and I've got me legs up.  It's so hot and humid again today.  It's trying to rain, so hopefully it does and cools things down a bit.

It hasn't rained.  So it's stinkin hot.

My tummy has been churning for two days now, many, many trips to the loo later and I'm so over it!  Stress me thinks.  Nah, I knows it's that.
All the negative comments on here do not help.
We know it's a crap situation but as I've said a million times... we will always put our kids/grandkids first.  If that means ENABLING Lacy to leave Keera here, then for the sake of Keera, that is what we will do.
We hope that eventually Lacy does pull herself together and get settled again.

End of Day: off to bed, got a fairly busy day tomorrow.
nite nite

    4. Oh Bee, thats funny but it does seem that so many people are living the dream these days and have an opinion on everything. Chris is always there for her kids and does whatever she can to help why do people always insist on sharing there sometimes not very nice opinions.
Chris I for one commend you for all you do for your kids and more so your grandchildren, Keera is very lucky to have a grandmother who finds it important to ensure her daughter and granddaughter are in the right place and is prepared to do whatever she can to help make it happen. And then of course Brylee and Griffin .. Chris you and Stew are legends, keep it up.

    Hi

If a grandchild stays with his or her parents for a holiday it isn't a big deal I am sure that is a legal senario and it is probably very hard being a full time single parent, everyone in the world needs support and a break at some point. Even parents who are together get a break from their children if needed.

    Cheers

Isn't Lacy engaged? But collecting a benefit? The law clearly states the rules around this even if they are not living together. Lacy and the choices she has made may find herself in a whole heap of trouble.

    1. How can the law penalise someone for being engaged if they are living separately? I've never heard of this before.

  5. However well meaning some people are just too nosy and too busy NOT minding their own business.

I'm sure you have things worked out legally. After all this is not an entirely new scenario to you. I'm sure you are more concerned about giving the right kind of family support and safety to your daughter and grand-daughter.

Meantime why don't you delete the related content and comments? I would.

    Tallulah Wow x 6!

Find some space to sew and enjoy.

    Blessings:)

  6. Crikey some people can't wait to put the knife in! I love reading your blog, I think you're a terrific mum and grandma and I enjoy reading about your family, I think what you do is your business - one of the reasons I enjoy the blog is that your life is so totally different to mine, I've never had to make some of the choices you have to, and wouldn't dream of criticising them. It's great to see that Keera is a happy and confident little girl, she clearly feels loved and supported. I'm more interested in the puppies arriving!

WTF PEOPLE.... SERIOUSLY this is about my little girl and making sure she is safe and well, I feel sad to say it but I now really don't give a rats as what some of you think of me, I could be sorted and have everything right and you would still find something to hate or disapprove of, so stuff it.
At the end if he day all I care about is my daughters well being and getting shit right again for her.
As for my financial situation and relationship status and so on......none of your dam business, and who would want to marry me anyways lol.

    Have a nice day

    1. Forget about everyone else & just focus on getting yourself sorted so you & Keera can be happily back together again. You have the opportunity to be a good role model for her :-). Good Luck & stay strong.

  8. Six puppies! You will be busy :-) I had to laugh when you referred to them as wrigglers the other day, because we have nicknamed our baby Wriggles after the first scan. Good luck! Penny xo

  10. As a daughter i hope that if i ever needed help getting on my feet or my kids needed some stability then my mum would step up to the plate and as a mother i know that i would do anything to help my kids including taking in their kids. Keera is with loving grandparents and her brother and sister and has her Aunty, uncle and cousins nearby. She will be completely fine untl Lacey can get back on her feet.

  11. Of course you must have Keera - yes, it's enabling Lacy but there is no other way. As grandparents it's just what we do - God knows I've bent over backwards over the years enabling my daughter for both her sake and my grandson's sakes.

Oh wow people are so rude and judgemental. I wish you all the best Lacy, you have a beautiful girl. You will get sorted and it's great your mum and dad are there for you while you do. I wish people would keep there negative comments to themselves. Chris you're amazing don't listen to them, you know what you're doing.

  16. What you and Stew are doing Chris is to be admired - and the right thing - putting Keera's welfare and stability first. Keera and Lacy are very fortunate to have such caring family members. (Wow .... 6 puppies - you will be busy! Have you thought of names yet?)

  22. I don't comment very often , but have to add my voice to those supporting you. I know that you will always give love and support to all of your kids and grandkids. Keera deserves stability, and if the only way that this can be the case, then congratulations to both you and Stew and Lacy for being prepared to put her needs before your own. Life is sometimes a struggle, and we all make sh*t decisions at times, it is just that some of us are lucky enough that we have more resources to recover. Good luck Lacy and I hope that you can soon get your life back to stability so that you can have Keera with you full-time.

  23. Nobodys business and only support should be offered. Yiu have no choice. A Grandma is a grandna abd thats it. Keera is coming first with you. I would do the same.
