GLAD I WASN'T THERE!

Stew and Griffin had a random conversation in front of the checkout lady last night at the supermarket.

Griffin asked Stew to teach him to whistle with his fingers... Stew said no, he wasn't any good at whistling and now wasn't the time ... but his Mum was really good at whistling, and I could teach him.

Griffin said yes, his Mum was really good at whistling, but I was even better at farting!  Seems everyone thought that was rather funny.... glad I wasn't there though!  How embarassing. 

LOL eh?  Right... today ... it's wet, wet,wet! Don't think we will be doing much.... might be a good day to finally get the Christmas tree up!   Yeah, good idea me thinks.

ONWARD...

ABOVE:  Remember these?   I finally made some into wall hangings.  They are just gorgeous!  Well I think so anyway.  Will take them to market I think...

ABOVE:   well the tree is up.... and it's STINKING HOT AND HUMID....but not raining.  It might even clear up enough for me to go to Market tomorrow! 
That would be good.... any money I can make right now will go towards some Christmas presents for B &G.

I. AM. NEVER. EVER. LEAVING. PRESENT. BUYING. TO. THE. LAST. MINUTE. AGAIN!  Such a bad idea... cos I am always broke this time of year!  Dumb Tart.

WOMBAT:  about 2.6 years ago I went over to Melbourne to see my niece graduate from the Victorian Police Academy.  I got those shirts for B & G then.

End of Day: and I've been sewing all evening, more of the animal wall hangings.  Really enjoying getting them finished and out of the 'Projects Half Done' box!  *smiles*  nite nite.

SCHOOL FINISHES, HALF A DAY.. AND NO POOL PARTY?

School finishes at 12.30 today.
Stew is taking half the day off too... as Griffin's Speld Teacher is holding a pool party for her students.... IF it is not raining.

It's raining.

So maybe the pool party is not on.  Will find out later on in the morning I suppose.  Griffin will be really crushed if it's cancelled.  If it is, with Stew home this afternoon we can take them out for lunch... that will ease Griffin's disappointment.

So, fingers crossed the weather clears up for the afternoon.

It's not looking good for the Market on Sunday either... I cannot sell bags and cards in the pouring rain.   DRAT.

ONWARD... I must enjoy this morning as it will be the last morning I get to myself for 6 and a half weeks.  

Poor Teddy is going nuts... he wants to scratch his chin SO BAD... and can't.  He is crying with frustration.  To watch him anyone would think he had ants in his pants.. he can't keep still.  Kinda reminds me of Griffin.

Two more hours till the kids get home.... Yaaa kids are home... and I have already got cross with them!  Griffin is the world's best nagger... he's already 'reminded' me  a dozen times that the pool party MIGHT be on.... if it's not raining.   Well mate, it may not be raining right NOW, but it so could be in an hour!  *sigh*

Well we were very lucky this afternoon... there was a 3 hour 'window' when the weather cleared up enough for the party to happen.
So off we went out into the country ... and the kids had a ball!  They spent 2 hours IN the pool!

ABOVE:  just as we were all leaving,  the Tutor's son dived in the pool... miscalculated and smacked his nose on the edge... took a really good chunk off the bridge of his nose... it looked nasty.   When he surfaced there was blood pouring down  his face, it was quite scary really.   I'm sure he will heal fine, but I bet he has two black eyes tomorrow!

Back home now... and almost dinner time.  I've made no preparations for dinner either, think it will be a 'silly bugger' dinner (anything you can find!).  lol

End of Day:  having a nice evening, watched some TV then did some sewing.  nite nite.

ONE MORE SLEEP

YEP, one more sleep till school finishes for the year.  I can't wait. 

I am so over having to follow a routine.  I am tired.  I want a break from it all.

Sure it means the kids will be home 24/7... but they are not that bad.  Dire threats work well around here.

Today:  well I am taking Griffin to his last Speld lesson early, then dropping him at Totara Park to join his class on a picnic and swim in the pools.

Then I'm coming home, putting my feet up and having a bloody nap.

THAT. IS. ALL.   I really am tired.  And praying that it really isn't raining on Sunday.... cos I want to do the Market again... if only to add to the Christmas cash!

ONWARD....

Well this has to be one of the most boring days ever.   After taking Griffin to his lesson then dropping him back with his class in the park I came home and have done diddly squat since!

Teddy is scratching his chin again, so now I'm off to put a cone back on him.  He's so infuriating...

SO BUSY... MAD TIME OF THE YEAR.

I'm sorry... I have once again too busy to get to reading/commenting on your blogs.  I feel bad.  But... Christmas is coming and I have masses to do.

Shit, I haven't even got our Christmas tree up yet... I'm NOT looking forward to that as it's a shit of a job.  Just getting it out of the 'attic' is a job in itself.  Hopefully I can get Stew to do that this coming weekend.

I'm off to do my stint in the Hospice Shop this morning before taking 2 weeks off over the silly season.  Luckily Stew is going to be home for most of January so I can still help out at the shop during January.

ABOVE:  This is one of three bags I started last night..... it's rather swish!  It's not finished yet.... I have to put the lining in.

ONWARD...

ABOVE:  every time I go to the Hospice shop to 'work'... I tell myself "DO NOT buy anything"... but do I listen to myself?  Pffffft.  Obviously not.
Today I bought 2 BRAND NEW white tops for one of the grandkids ($1 each!), a pretty little dress for Rena and a bunch of belts... cos I can use their buckles on my bags!  ($1 each)... SCORE!  LUCKILY for my wallet the Hospice Shop is closing for Christmas.   lol

It's a diabolical day weather wise.... hot, humid with virtually no wind.   *MELTING*

We are lucky my head is screwed on... otherwise I'd forget it!  *sigh*.... 3.35 and Brylee reminded me that she was supposed to be at the Orthodontist's at 3.25!  Far out... jump in the car ... race down the road so the orthodontist can look in her mouth and say all is going well... and we can come back in 3 months!  That took less than a minute!!!   Grrrrrr... I get home and realise that I'd left half the outside door wide open.  WONDERFUL.

It's so hot I am now SUPER CRABBY.

I would like to make more of the 'CUTE STAY OPEN' bags at some point too... but not right now.

End of Day: weather forecast for sunday is RAIN... so I might have made these extra bags for nothing!  Me thinks people will be getting bags for Christmas forever!  lol
Spent the evening lazing in the lounge, reading blogs... and watching the telly.  My feet are really swollen and aching... not nice.  Hope it's not too hot tomorrow.  nite nite.

2ND DAY AT PATCHWORK ...

Ya, two days in a row at patchwork class... I cut out 2 more of those new bags last night, and did the preliminary work on them... could only do some much before I had to stop as I did not have any of the necesary buckles.  Will get those today no doubt... want to see them (so far)? 

ABOVE:  bloody awful photos.. it was dark.. and they are on the ironing cloth... so crap.  I bet they will look much better when they are finished and in good lighting. 

ONWARD....when I get home I promise to pop around the blogs and catch up! 

OH and I just have to say.... it's RAINING!  REALLY PISSING DOWN.. it's lovely!   Griffin is MEGA pissed off though, as it was supposed to be 'Water Fun' Day at his school today... playing outside with water bombs, water cannons etc.  Doubt it will happen now.  So we have to put up with a super grumpy, 'slam the door' type of GRIFFIN.  Not nice first thing in the morning I tell ya!

ABOVE:  I finished the blue bag at class, and have about 1/2 an hour's work left to finish the purple one...  Class today was lovely...we had a really nice morning tea for 'end of term'...  I am going to miss going there for the next 6 weeks.

Home now and ready for lunch and a quiet time until the kids get home.  I usually hear them coming... Brylee yaks all the way home, and I can hear her for about 4 minutes BEFORE she walks through the door.  lol


Oh and it's stopped raining now and it's super MUGGY... the humidity is at 100%.  Ikkkkkkk.

End of Day:  and I've been busy sewing again.... got the purple bag finished and started on 3 more.  Tired .. it's almost 11pm. my bedtime.  nite nite.

OH YES, A LAZY DAY AHEAD...

Well... after such a busy, hot weekend... I'm so happy I can do bugger all today!

AND bugger all is what I really am going to do!

I might read some blogs... I might watch a movie on the telly... hell I might even lie in the sun (if it's not TOO hot)...

It's the last week of school.... and then we have something like 6 and a half weeks off... with kids home.  Like THAT'S gunna be fun.  *sigh*
But, we all need a break from the routine... and I am (for once) looking forward to it!

Weird me saying that eh?  But it's true... I want to be able to just relax and not have to worry about getting kids to school/speld lessons... and I'm also taking time off  from the Hospice Shop too.... well,  someone needs to look after B & G eh?

I can't imagine a day when I can do whatever I want without having to look after little kids!  So far I've been at home with little kids for ..oh.... 31 years, 11 months, 1 week and 1 HOUR!  Let's not worry about the minutes eh?   lol

ONWARD... Let's start being lazy!  Or not.... I just remembered that I can 'make up' missed Patchwork lessons by going on a Monday AND Tuesday... so I am going this morning.

 ABOVE:  this is the room we use for our Patchwork mornings... it is a room off Fabricland, Papakura... the best thing about this class is that if you need anything it's right there!  You don't have to wait until you can go to the shop to get it...

ABOVE:  This is the 'best' part of the shop... where all the patchwork fabrics are.... *drool*.  She doesn't have as much as some other shops I've been to, but it's OK. 

So, ONWARD..... got to empty my car from yesterday before I can go anywhere!

Class today was FUN!  We were told to bring along 4 fat quarters as we would be making a bag!  Well.... that was right up my street, so I grabbed some fabric and this is what I ended up with:

Ummm... I had lunch... then I fell asleep!  Must have been tired.... off now to make the pattern for that bag.

THIS LITTLE PIGGY WENT TO MARKET....and the kids stayed home.

I am off to market again today... last chance to sell something there.. if it's a 'dud' day again I will know not to go there again eh?

So, fingers crossed it does go well... cos I will be SUPER DUPER PISSED OFF if I SELL NOTHING.

On to happier things..... I got a parcel in the post yesterday... from a lovely friend in America (Linda):

 ABOVE:  Linda made me this really gorgeous Laptop Bag!   It is just amazing... and she embroidered a fish on it and the words "My Friends Live In Here"... which is something I say about my computer... cos it's true!  My friends DO live in it!  And of course it's BLUE and has a fish cos I love both so much!  *smiles*

 ABOVE:  She also made me this cute as 'patch' which I am going to frame somehow and hang on my wall.. cos I love it too!

ONWARD....

I'm home, I'm as hot as hell... it was a blistering hot day I tell ya!  How did I go?  Well quite a lot better than last weekend that's for sure!  BUT... I am not going to become rich overnight .... lol.
Think I will do next sunday's Market too.... then stop till after the school holidays.

Stew and the kids came out at lunchtime... and Stew then went back home to get our big umbrella for me... and left me with the kids.  Pffffft... at one point I noticed Griffin was gone... was starting to really worry about where he was... then I spotted him:

ABOVE:  he was two stalls down yakking with a woman and playing with her wee dog!  He stayed there for a good hour yakking... shit that boy can yak like a girl!  But... it was nice cos he kept that woman company and was outta my hair!  *smiles*

I am now going to have a semi-cold shower to freshen up... I feel like shit... hot and sticky.  Nice. 

End of Day: there is nothing like a cold shower to make ya feel human again after a loooooong, hot day!  Sat on me butt for the rest of the evening watching mindless TV... it was bliss.  nite nite.

FRANTIC HERE TODAY!

TODAY:

- get house and yard/garage etc all tidy for House Inspection at midday.

- Do grocery shopping, we have nothing to eat!

- Get ready for the Pokeno Market again....

So it's gunna be a busy day!   Like FRANTIC is more like it!

You think your home it nice and tidy.. until you have someone coming to look at it with a view to buy!

So... if this is 'it' until later on today.... you know why!   I'm.  BUSY.   lol.

Well the people have been, looked.. and probably won't  buy... they want a seperate lounge.  The ONLY cosolation for all that cleaning.. I have a really, really tidy house!

But now I'm exhausted.  We just did the grocery shopping too... I have NO energy to put it away.

Must have a 'nana nap' soon...

YAAA, FRIDAY.

I'm really glad it's Friday, it's been a long week.

I think the heat is really getting to me ... excess weight is bound to have a lot to do with that.

If only I didn't like carbs so much... they are my downfall over and over again.  It's so easy to just have a sandwich for lunch... no fuss...no worries about what to eat... grrrr.

I really do need to sit down and make a sound plan .... what I can have for lunches is the biggest problem.

What do YOU have for lunch.... if you are doing low carbs?

What else is on my mind?  Well...I don't really want to do the Market again... the thought of standing around in the heat all day and selling sweet bugger all is doing my head in.   I keep thinking... 'but what if'... you know... if I go it might be a better day... but what if it isn't?

And if I decide to go... I will want to take some of the Coaster sets (of 4) too.... just in case they sell.... which means I need to buckle down and make more today and tomorrow.  I wish I could decide....

ONWARD...

Right... I made up my mind to do the Market one more time... so with that in mind I have been making friggin coasters all day:

So, the secret to a good 'diet' is to get really busy and forget to eat! HA HA HA...

AND  to add to my already busy day... our Real Estate Agent rang and she's bringing some people through our house TOMORROW AT LUNCHTIME.... and ummmm...we are not even on the bloody Market yet!  And that's if we decide to even sell.... but I said 'Yes' cos ya just never know what could happen eh?

End of Day: and instead of enjoying a relaxing evening with a tipple or two, Stew and I are mowing lawns, weeding, cleaning, polishing... in readiness for tomorrow. I think we are mad (as in: nuts!).  nite nite.

MAD ABOUT COASTERS....OR MUG RUGS!

Today I am going to be making more of these:

I just love them!  They are (in my humble opinion) so much better than wooden/ceramic/glass coasters!!!!  The 'other' types of coasters end up with pools of water on them from your cold glass's condensation.... the fabric ones can absorb the moisture and then be washed later... and if you spill a bit of ya coffee or tea on the coaster you can just wash it too!   No more mess.... yaaaa.

I am going to have so much fun thinking up new ways to make them...using different patterns, fabrics etc. 

If there is one thing I do love, it's coming up with different ideas for creating 'stuff'... I love being creative... OBVIOUSLY eh?  lol
AND they are going to be so easy to post as gifts... they will fit in an envelope!  AWESOME.

ONWARD...

Well...I haven't made any more yet... I've been out and about checking out present possibilities for the kids.  With limited funds it is going to be 'interesting' to say the least.  Brylee is so easy to buy for... whereas Griffin is the pitts.  He loves Playstation and anything with wheels... but just how many toy cars and playstation games does one kid need?

So, home again and just relaxing for while before sewing again.

Oh and I need to clean up a whole bunch of bird feathers.... a  bird flew inside and the dogs got it... I saved it from certain death, but not before it lost a lot of feathers!  The dogs were having a ball with it!  Ikkkk.

Got to feed the kids dinner now... Stew won't be home for dinner tonight, so we will have something quick I reckon...

MUG RUGS

Apparently 'mug rugs' are all the rage overseas right now.. in the blog/quilting community.  If you are anything like me, you will be saying 'What the hell is a mug rug?".

Well I asked a friend in Ireland just that and she said it was a small 'quilted rug' for putting your coffee mug on!   OH  ... OK... here we call them 'Coasters'...LOL.

I tried making one last night....

ABOVE: is the back.  Please don't go thinking we all wear grass skirts, cook our food in a pit in the ground, etc etc.... cos we don't.  That is how Maori's (they were here before Europeans) used to live!  Not anymore!  We are all quite 'normal' and just like you fulla's!  ha ha ha!   (fulla's = fellows) lol

Today: off to work at the Hospice Shop... fingers crossed yet again that I don't spend any money!

Home again!  And what a day... it was bedlam in the shop today as we were having a mad sale!  I was kept super busy serving customers for hours....
AND I did buy a few things... well I could hardly be expected to forgo a bargin eh? lol

ABOVE:  I got 8 tops for $1 each ! and some bling.... most of the necklaces I'm going to dismantle and give to Brylee for Christmas as part of a Jewellery Making set.... She is bound to have fun making her own necklaces eh?

Since coming home I've just kept my feet up... the busy day and the heat has made them swell up.. yeah such a nice look... I'm sure.

End of Day:  and I've had a lovely time sewing mug rugs!  And watching the TV all night!  Time for bed.. nite nite.

DYSLEXIA, DYSGRAPHIA AND DYSPRAXIA!

Yesterday I had to visit the Dr to get them to fill in and sign a form from the Welfare (WINZ) so we could continue to recieve a small amount of money to go towards helping Griffin with his learning.

WELL... according to the Doctor Griffin did not meet the 'criteria' of having a disability!  OK, he's as healthy as a horse PHYSICALLY... but his learning disability impacts HUGELY on his MENTAL HEALTH lady!  I was not impressed.

I talked to his Speld Teacher.... and she said we needed to see a Peadiatrician... as she was sure Griffin has:  Dyslexia, Dysgraphia AND Dyspraxia.... I didn't know about the Dyspraxia.... so I Google'd it.... YEP, he has that too.

So, today we are visiting the Speld Teacher (instead of on Thursday as Griffin has a class trip on Thursday) and she is going to let us know who to see so we can get the Disability Allowance reinstated.

I can't believe this really.... and hope we don't have to jump through hoops every year to get the $help.  It costs a bomb to keep him going to the Speld Teacher once a week!   AND he really needs to go. 

So, that's what I am doing this morning...taking his nibs to his Speld lesson.  Then I will come home and do something!  I don't know what!  But I should be doing some Christmas shopping!  Maybe that's what I will do.

ONWARD...

ABOVE:  4 little fat quarters I got in Pukekohe today... and a bacon burger, which I am going to eat in a mo.  So... I was HUNGRY!

All good, but a super muggy hot and humid day.  It rained overnight, which is good for the grass/plants but not for us who feel the heat!  *sigh*

Off to eat me burger now...

Le Burger was YUM!   So was the 2 hours I spent on the net reading up on stamping/techniques.   *sigh*.. it is so easy to get carried away reading up on all the ways you can make cards, tags etc!  It's AMAZING how 'technical' some cards are!  The amount of time that goes into them.    Mine look so AMATEUR compared to others. 

Enough fluffing around, time to think about what's for dinner.. not that I want any!

BACK INTO IT...

Only two more weeks till school ends for the summer... I think I'm looking forward to it!

Not having to rush around first thing in the morning making lunches, organizing my day around school and school stuff.  Yaaaa.

But, until then.... the week begins again.
I have the RTLB teacher calling in this morning to discuss Griffin's progress at school  .... Pffffft... he's learnt more in the last NINE MONTHS from his SPELD teacher than he's learnt the last 4 years at 'normal school'!  I find it so INTERESTING that the school wants to take credit for something they didn't do.

So, it will be interesting to hear what she has to report...
ONWARD...

ABOVE:  see this box of cards?  Well today I have to carefully peel the cellotape off  and take off the cellophane wrapping on all of them... cos I FORGOT TO ADD THE BLOODY ENVELOPES didn't I!  Grrrrr... I could spit tacks.  It's going to take me hours.  (edit: yes I have to unwrap them as they are going to the shop in Whitianga)

So ... that's what I am doing today... after I see the RTLB teacher, who's due any minute... OR NOT... she's almost always late.  (edit:  she was late.  She said Griffin is doing well she always says that, and outlined what they are hoping to do with him next year.  Which is get him on to a new programmed called WordQ... and they MIGHT fund it too, which would be good).

So that's it for now.. off to peel off cellotape *sigh*...

I've spent a lot of time this afternoon on the phone... pertaining to the kids mainly.  And a visit to the Doctor... will talk about that tomorrow.
Dinner is easy tonight, left over beef stew and veges... yaaa I don't need to cook much.

ALL PACKED AND READY TO GO...

ABOVE:  my car... all packed up and ready to go.... it's so much easier going to market with cards and bags compared to pottery!  No heavy boxes or masses of wrapping paper, no breakables!  It's awesome.

RIGHT... everyone wish me luck... and keep ya fingers crossed I sell SOMETHING today!  I will be gutted if it's a flop. 

Stew and the kids will be coming out to see/relieve me for a while around midday... one must have a piddle break eh? lol

WELL.... all that work... and getting up early, and sitting in the blistering sun.... for sweet bugger all!   It was incredibly quiet at the market... I  was assured everyone was having a dismal day, so didn't feel too bad.   But still... it was disheartening to say the least.   I'm not sure if I will put myself through that again. 

 ABOVE:  the lovely Kate from Auckland came a visited me, which was really nice of her.

ABOVE:  the girl next to me was selling wooden things.. Brylee and Griffin made themselves 'useful' and kept her company... and even sold some of her stuff while she was off getting her lunch!  She gave them a 'commission' each so they could go and buy a wee something.  How sweet of her!

End of Day:  I've had an incredibly quiet, lazy afternoon and evening.   nite nite.

BAGS, BAGS AND HOUSE

Today I will try and make a few more for tomorrow's Pokeno Market.  Feeling NERVOUS about doing a stall again!  Haven't done one in YEARS AND YEARS.  Last time I was a Stall Holder I was selling my pottery! 

Today.... well this afternoon actually we are going to look at another house... it's in the neighbouring suburb... so obviously we are still see-sawing about moving or not.  Maybe if we found the perfect house, for the right price we would go on the market.  Talk about indecisive! 

I've been frantically making bags all day!  Only stopped to go and look at that house I talked abut.. it was nice... big... BUT.. needed so much work done on it to bring it up to scratch... AND .. it had  native bush on it's back doorstep and all of the trees are protected...so you couldn't chop them down.  They were right up against the house, huge, huge trees.  Such a shame cos the house was quite nice.

I don't think we want it.

Card making is going on the back burner.... I have plenty made now.

So, today I will get back into making a few more Cute Bags... I have NONE left! 

The other thing I really must get around to doing soon is Christmas Present shopping!  I can't believe I have left it this late to even START!  I usually start getting presents really early in the year. 

Hell, I havn't even got the Christmas tree down from storeage yet either.
Maybe that is something I can do too... this weekend.

I had planned on doing the Pokeno Market this coming sunday too... but I'm not sure I have enough stock!  I have cards and a few of the smaller bags,  but that's it.   Is it worth doing I wonder?

ABOVE: finished this one, got about 6 more cut out ready to go.  Been quiet around here, just me and the dogs.

As for the market on sunday, think I will do it... I've got 6 bags like the one above, and can probably make at least 2-3 more before sunday.  And I do have lots of cards! 

Well... I will as long as it's not going to rain... like it's threatening to do right now!  I have just rushed outside to get in the washing.... sure looks like it's going to rain.  Which will be nice as it will cool the temps down a bit.

Off to have dinner now, I've made beef and vege pies....oooo yum!

End of Day:  spent the evening making bags.... so the total today was 5 bags! Not bad eh?  nite nite.

Happy it's Thursday.
I don't have to do anything really but take Griffin to his Speld lesson.
While I wait for him I might go to Pukekohe and check out the local fabric shop, see if they have any new and exciting fabrics in.

Other than that... I think I will be a lazy tart today and do bugger all!

HI!   Believe it or not... I have been lazy!   After taking Griffin to/from his lesson I have just sat on me bum and watched some tv programmes that I had taped.  

I did buy a couple of things in Pukekohe, but they are to be Xmas presents ... so can't show ya!  What a shame eh?

lol....kids just got home from school.... the house is no longer nice and quiet.  *sigh*.... so I will pop down to the garage and make some more cards or sommit.

And, as I have nothing else to take a photo of.. you get the dogs!

ABOVE:  they seem to love being on the dining chairs.... under the table. Isn't Coco just so damn cute?  Teddy is too, but he is not fond of having his photo taken.  Takes after me he does!  lol.  I have been calling Coco "Baboon Bum" cos she's in season, and as she is clipped quite short right now... she has a.... BABOON BUM!   AND NO, I ain't gunna show you... she's shy like that.  *smiles*

I have managed to make about 8 cards this afternoon... and now I've stopped as I have the shakes and feel ill... I do believe I forgot to eat today so far!  So I rang Stew and he's bringing home takeaways... cos I feel awful!  Such a lovely man I have eh?  

End of Day:  ahhh, much better with a bit of food in me tum.  Spent the evening chilling out in the lounge... did NOTHING at all!  Crickey dick talk about a lazy day!  nite nite.

HOSPICE, THEN ???

OMG it's DECEMBER already, where the hell did this year go???  I have not got ANY Christmas presents yet... though this year and from now on I am only buying for the Grandkids, it's getting far too expensive to buy for everyone!  Serve me right for having 6 (+ 2)  kids eh?

So.... off to Hospice Shop today... then  I might pop down to Spotlight, they are having a big sale and ya never know what you might pick up for a really good price.

Then, back home to do ????

But I've been thinking of maybe trying to make myself a summer dress or two... copying a dress I already have that is nice and comfy, and seems like easy to make!  We will see...

ONWARD...

HI *waves*... well work was rather slow today... so I bought a few items of clothes which were rather nice, not necessarily for me... just got them cos they might fit someone in the family and they were just too good a price to leave.

I've not done much else today... except do a bit of housework.  Got an Estate Agent calling in this afternoon to value our home... so we have a better idea of it's worth now in case we decide to sell and try to find something bigger elsewhere.  Only THINKING, EXPLORING the possibilities right now.  DON'T. GET. EXCITED!

Well, the Estate Agents liked our house.  Not sure if I really want to move now!  They said there were not many houses like ours in this area... and they thought it was a lovely home.  Bearing in mind,  if we were to put it on the market I would need to have another house lined up for us! So it's still a 'wait and see' situation.

End of Day:  and I've spent the rest of the afternoon and evening reading and commenting on blogs. I can't believe how behind I was.... almost 600 updates .... I only read about 100 and left the rest!  I have to accept that I just don't have the time to keep as 'up to date' as I would like nowdays.  I hope no one is too upset that I don't 'visit' as often?   I don't like to think I am ignoring someone!  But... life intervenes so often!  lol
Off now to watch Survivor ... I quite like this programme.  nite nite.
