SEW... OR GO?

Well... today's plans are up in the air until I decide how I feel.

I have, as you know, been really out of sorts since my tooth was pulled out.  Yesterday was the first day in over a week where I actually felt semi-human again.

If I feel ok after getting up, we might go out for the day, probably over to Tauranga/The Mount.

If not, I'll stay home and do some more sewing.

So, gimme an hour or so, and we will have made up our minds what we are gunna do.

...
Well upon reflection, we have decided to STAY HOME.
Why drive anywhere when we are happiest at home?
We don't need to look at other shops, beaches etc.  Been there, done that.

I am feeling much better, and even getting a decent nights sleep finally.

So, I will do some sewing, which I am at my happiest doing.
Stew will watch sport on the telly, which he loves.
We might go out to the shops a bit later on, as we need a few fresh supplies.  But that's about it.
Talk about boring old farts.

I consider it conserving our energy for when we have to move, cos it's going to be rather busy then.

And once moved, there will be the inevitable unpacking, sorting, arranging, painting etc etc!
I'm looking forward to that I can tell ya.

1 pm:  And it's been a good morning.  I got those two table toppers finished.
And I've started laying out the next one, which will be blue.
Right now though, Stew is making our lunch.  Ham 'n' cheese toasted sandwiches.

After lunch, I again had a nap.  I really am not 100% yet.  Just feel totally blah still, even though the pain is under control.

In a day or two I am going to try weaning off the pain killers and see what happens.  The last time I tried that it backfired.  So, fingers crossed I've given it long enough?

I made a blue Square Table Topper, but first had to decided what fabric to use on the outer strip:

ABOVE:  my options were one of those above.  I will show you which one I chose, tomorrow.  Cos I've not finished stitching it on yet.

Stew had gone to the pub, I won't be joining him.  I really don't feel up to it.

Seriously, has anyone else felt like death warmed up after having a tooth removed?  It seems ridiculous that it's been this awful!

Thank You Surrey for reaching out and letting me know of your horrible experience.  At least now I know I'm not the only person who's had this sort of pain after a tooth extraction.

My Facebook account just got hacked.  DO NOT accept any friend requests from me, thanks.

And with that, I'm outta here.  Bed is calling me.
Catch ya tomorrow.

Normally, most people are ok when a tooth is pulled...my brother also got an infection and it took a bit extra to get better....with such a deep tooth, and considering the area was already infected, you should have been given antibiotics immediately to take home... when an infection takes hold it does take a few days to get better and maybe even two courses of antibiotics...I think you should get an X-ray as well, which someone else also suggested....just to be sure the bone is ok and the infection is going...Peta
