HOW CUTE IS THIS?

We are expecting a lovely summers day today.  Unlike yesterday, which had periods of quite chilly weather!

There was crazy weather all over the country in fact.  There has been snow fall in places that you simply do not expect in the middle of summer!

I can remember walking to catch the school bus as a teenager in December, in snow fall as well.

So 'climate change'...  PFFffft!  It's happened before, and will happen again.

Maybe today we will be able to get in the pool?  That would be nice, we've not had much chance to enjoy the pool this summer yet.

Stew and I are out and about this morning, we have a few things on the 'list' to get done.

Just odd jobs really.  But we had to wait until more shops were open after they shut down over the holiday period.

I also need more plain black fabric from Spotlight for backing those Table Toppers.

It will be neat to get all four of them finished and ready for market at the end of the month.  I've thoroughly enjoyed making them, something slightly different for a change.

ABOVE:  Lacy's guinea pig, Chocolate, and Ash the kitten.  How cute is that!

12.32 pm:  And the morning went well.  Out and about, got everything done.

Came home and ordered the new gazebo leg, it should arrive before we actually need it.

I got heaps of black fabric from Spotlight, it was on Sale again.  It's almost always on sale, let's be real!  Spotlight is like Briscoes, having a 'new' sale every other day.  Makes a mockery of it really.

I made us toasted sandwiches for lunch, very yum they were too.
Now... gunna take a break before heading into the sewing room a bit later on.

Yes Dogstars, I can chew again!  Albeit carefully.
My mouth is feeling much better today, thank goodness.  I was starting to worry it was going to be a problem, like with an infection or something.  But, it is slowly getting better, just taking more time than I anticipated.

I just got the larger of the four table toppers finished.  I'll work on the other three tomorrow.

The people who have a contract on our home asked for a builders report.  All good.
Today we were asked if Wednesday would be OK for the builder to come?  We said yes.
An hour later, they wanted to change it to Friday. Again, we said yes.
Then a few hours later... yep, they wanted to change it again!
To Monday.  AGAIN we said yes, OK.
But if they keep dicking us around I'm going to fucking spit the dummy!
Like Seriously.

Right, it's 8.43 pm, and I'm about ready for bed!
Yep, still feeling overwhelmingly tired.
I must admit though, the mouth is feeling quite a bit better.   Still sore, and requiring pain killers, but not as much.
Maybe by tomorrow it will be much, MUCH better?
I've read up on it, and I really should be 'over it' by tomorrow, with just a little tenderness.
If not, I'll give a few more days before deciding if I need to see the Dr.
Trying not to be a cry baby!

Catch ya tomorrow.

  1. The kitty is adorable. If he grows up with the Guinea Pig - they will likely be forever friends!

  3. Sorry to hear about your tooth pain, it is literally the worst thing ever. Thankfully you sound to be on the mend and finally have that sorted. We are heading to NZ to visit friends at end of February. I’ll be watching the weather closely as it sounds tricky to pack for. I’m used to heat!

Geez I don't blame you. Had power cut here since 1.30. Got it back on and then off again suddenly. Could be a dark cold night. Kj

  7. Exactly PFFT for climate change. They're always saying 'worst in 50 years' or such. Just cycles.
Glad to hear the sun is shining again and your tooth is getting better.
Roll on signing papers and moving out! And moving in lol. You need some peace of mind
