HOUSE STUFF:
And now we wait. For the builder to send his report to the 'buyers', who then discuss it, and then reply via their solicitor as to what they want to do about 'anything' in it. Or nothing? Just buy my friggin house already!!!
My nerves are shot.
I don't deal with waiting too well, and particularly over something so BIG and important.
I'm trying everything I can to NOT think about it, but seriously, it's all I think about. So much hinges on this. I hate the idea of going back to square one with another buyer.
If you have been around long enough, you will remember the nightmare we had when trying to sell our home in Auckland.
We had SEVEN CONTRACTS fall over, before the EIGHTH one finally sealed the deal.
Here, this is our second contract. The first lot walked away, cos they were after a cheap deal and we said 'NO'.
It is only Tuesday, we certainly don't expect to hear back from anyone before the end of the week, at the earliest. So, lucky I am not a nail biter, I'd have no fingers left!
My plans for today? Some housework, followed by some grocery shopping.
Then after lunch I have a 'Secret Squirrel' meeting, to discuss our next home with the Estate Agent.
ABOVE: Ouch! 90% of the time, my Trulicity injection doesn't hurt much. Last Friday's? DAMN WELL HURT. And I got a bruise. Dreading this evening's one now. I hate injections so much! I could never give one to myself, Stew has to do it. I feel like it has dimmed my appetite a bit now. So that's good. I presume my Hba1c has come down again as well... I really should have another blood test soon I suppose. MEH, it can wait.
ABOVE: Keera playing with Lacy's little kitten, who had had a name change. She is now known as 'Sylvie'. She's rather cute, for a cat.
A couple of weeks ago while my ozempic didn’t hurt it bruised so badly that the bruise lasted over 3 weeks. No pain at all
ReplyDeleteYes, sometimes the Ozempic bruises, and other times nothing...never any pain...

BIG RANT alert...Im just home from a quick simple job get a form signed from a JP this is already the third time I've dealt with this application. JP signed it etc took it back to bank only to be told oh u need certication of address...I'm a customer of bank you have it on record nup need another form I board so power etc not in my name, so thankfully winz is across road got form etc to take across road back and knees about ready to snap...signed took back to bank by now can hardly breath and my knee is giving out on me...the chick I dealt with went out back got another staff member, rightly so cause I was so angry, (I said I'm not apologizing for loosing temper) who went got a fella...gave my address certificate form to her she taped a few buttons on computer you now need certificate of ID well I really lost the plot...snatched the form stormed out of bank went back to JP but they had left already not back until Friday, thankfully the receptionist mentioned a JP name in town so went there got my ID certified. Decided it was probably safer to post the application form rather than go back to bank. So sent it by courier $8 but as i say safer than being arrested.
ReplyDeleteY when you ask for something they can't give all the required info...8 times into the bank or on phone.
The Dr says keep ya blood pressure under control. Left home just before 1 and home 3.30 to get a form signed. Needless to say I was in NO MOOD to go get the few groceries I needed. Lie on bed listening to relaxation music.
What an annoying time you've had! You'd think they could have told you all you needed BEFORE you went in! Glad you didn't end up arrested. Lol
DeleteOne of the many times or the 3 times I rung yup. Have to ring State insurance but decided today wasn't a good day to do that lol
DeleteLots of mucking around for you guys , worth staying positive to keep the BP down lol
