Well.... even though we have a contract on our home, it is still 'on the market' until that contract goes unconditional.
So... we have a private viewing happening this morning.
Which means we will be getting the house ready for viewing... vacuuming, dusting, tidying up anything out of place, bla bla bla.
Shouldn't take us too long.
ABOVE: Last night I had to paint this wall. All would have gone smoothly, if I didn't spill a little primer on the carpet!
And I'd packed and put into storage all our Mineral Turps eh?
So there was a mad dash down to the petrol station to get some. Only they didn't have any!
Luckily, Steve did.
Crisis averted, primer washed off the carpet, and I could then paint the wall.
Phew... nothing is exactly quick and easy around here.
ABOVE: While yakking with Frieda yesterday, we were saying how she and I get cramps, particularly over summer. She told me about the Magnesium she takes (above), which she reckons works super well.
I've been taking magnesium gummies, which DON'T work too well. So yesterday, on our way home from Coromandel, we stopped in at The Chemist Warehouse and bought some of what she uses.
Fingers crossed it works for me. The cramps are really nasty right now, even my forearms and hands are getting cramps!
After the viewing this morning, we have my cousin Debbie calling in. It will be nice to sit and relax for a while.
To answer a couple of similar questions about our house sale.
I hope the magnesium helps. Enjoy your visit with your cousin Debbie.

Vickie
So does that mean someone can put another offer in and it be accepted until the contract goes conditional?
ReplyDeleteLike could a cash buyer swipe in and close immediately?
DeleteVickie
I wonder this... too.
DeleteI must tell you! We just got home and found a bobcat trapped in our fenced yard! I walked right by it twice! Once with Jethro. Thankfully neither of us noticed it and the cat kept to itself! So pretty!!!! And Magical!
ReplyDeleteWasn't that bit scary? Glad it kept to itself. So you have Bears and Bobcats.. what else?
DeleteThanks for the info on the house sale.
ReplyDeleteIt would be just a bit fun if someone swooped in and the current buyers had to scramble. . .
Vickie
Hi, those cramps don't sound normal, have you discussed it with your Dr...blood tests ? Peta
ReplyDeleteMagnesium capsule daily and Magnesium cream some nights probably 3 or 4 times a week didn't use to get cramp when I did all my walking but then I drunk gallons of water now only drink boiled water so guess that y I get cramp....I know you not a water fan AT ALL!!!
ReplyDeleteShit the primer on carpet would have put your blood pressure thru the roof thank goodness Steve could come to rescue again.
Buyers coming out the wood work isn't that funny hope your old agent hears all that.
I would be worried about accepting another offer that they might not go through with, considering you have already made an offer on another home...Peta
ReplyDeleteThis flipping weather is totally bipolar!! 28 degrees and then thunder and hail!! No matter can't do anything about it. Went to a sunflower paddock today OMG it was so cool 😎 GM 💙💙
ReplyDeleteDon’t tough out pain after a tooth extraction. If you take it as recommended the breakthrough pain will not be such a rotten issue. Helen
ReplyDeleteTake the painkillers every four hours to help keep the pain at bay and rest up. I did that after my shoulder surgery as tempted as I was to not take pills and to do stuff, it is all about letting your body heal. Trust me it works.
ReplyDeleteYou could have a dry socket if the pain is unbearable, call your dentist to get it checked. They can pack it and then pain goes away instantely. Gigi
ReplyDeleteThey packed it and stitched it up on the day they took it out. That was to prevent bleeding.
DeleteDo you have to go back for them to unpack the hole? You said they packed it and stitched it. Are you due back for them to cut the stitches out and unpack it? Or is the packing dissoluble? I agree with the others to take the pain meds every 4 hours or as instructed. Hope today finds you feeling better. Ky Girl
ReplyDeleteThe packing and stitches are dissolvable. So I don't have to go back unless there's a problem... and so far all is as it should be.

DeleteGood to hear. Good luck with your continued healing.
When I had dental work, it took a solid week before I felt better. Take the pain meds as directed. Don't try to tough it out. Also take it easy. My dentist even suggested no exercise for the first 2-3 days. That included walking! Hope you are feeling better soon.
