The same.
Still only managing to get by with pain killers every 4 hours.
I'm going to hang in here till Monday. If nothing has changed by then I'm ringing the hospital ... surely they can do something??? They did say I could ring them if I was worried about anything... well I'm worried!

Since getting up I have felt quite a bit better!
Still will ring the hospital later on I think.
Until then, we decided to make the most of me feeling more alive... and have gone on a road trip.

It's now 1.55 pm, we are home and happy to have a quiet afternoon.
I have not taken any painkillers since this morning, and all is going WELL!
I am still taking the antibiotics, just to be safe.
I have done more today than in the past 10 days, so it's looking good people.
My little surprise with the latest Square Table Topper is not going to work out... I sussed it out first thing this morning, and was like 'Yeah Nah'.
It would have been too busy. So I did something else instead.
I'll show you tomorrow, cos right now, I'm gunna have a quiet moment.

So, so relieved. And I bet Stew is too... I must have been worrying him as well as all you guys. Sorry about that. But it was really bad for a while there.
I am now in the sewing room, about to work on S.T.T #6. I might even have it finished today?
I wouldn't wait till Monday then... I think you need to either go to hospital or call them. There should not be this much pain after this much time after extraction. And by the way, I love that picture on the post today - only my IV would be loaded with COFFEE... Dawn P. Albany, GA USA
ReplyDeleteMaggie Melb Au, Chris, have you contacted the Dentist, he should know what is happening, I remember when I hard a tooth take out many years ago that I was taking the strongest over they counter painkillers, i was taking them for 4 weeks and they were affecting my stomach, I want to an acupuncturist and the pain lifted with in Hours. Hope you feel better soon,

ReplyDeleteI would ring the hospital dental unit today, why wait until Monday. Don't forget to tell them that you are taking antibiotics that you got from the Urgent Clinic incase they need to give you stronger ones. Audrey
