Not much of a title today eh? But hey, thinking of a title first thing every morning is HARD!
Today I am doing a first.... taking Izzy with me to the gym to meet and walk with my gym buddy... we have never taken her with us before, I usually walk her on our own then meet Janet and walk with her.... I hope she behaves !
What else? I had a shitty evening last night, don't really know why... but was picking all night and then blew it all and had a monster chocolate cookie ... maybe I am PMS-ing? I even tried to get Stew to go out and buy chocolate, but he wouldn't.... good man that. Not that I thought so at the time.
So, what else on today... NOTHING! Maybe that's what's wrong with me, nothing planned ... though I have heaps to do around the house, two bedrooms waiting to be painted, then the lounge and dining room .... maybe I just need to go do some retail therapy.... might get myself a new pedometer today... not going swimming anymore so can't drown it like the last 3 ! later...
You have a great day!! Sounds like it can only get better - I'm off to the monthly safety meeting - oh joy!!
ReplyDeleteHey! Stop jumping ahead. Its only Monday still here....:D
ReplyDeleteChocolate and cookies? Sounds like PMS to me....
Ahhhh world war III huh? You're not inspiring me much with the second kid on the way here....Hmmm, have you tried duct tape? Stops slapping AND screaming as well...
Hmmm retail therapy... yup..that'll fix anything.. haha
ReplyDeleteFancy drowning your last 3 pedometers... Woulda thunk you woulda worked that out after the second one.. hahaha
umm as for the kitchen thing... yep sounds like a normal household to me... hahaha..
Ha ha ha at the duct tape comment...
ReplyDeleteMother from hell hey... hmmm
Sounds like my house every day. Phoebe has taken to screaming at everyone if they don't do what she wants, Peta is bullying Ben as she has way more body mass and Ben is a constant smart arse clown. Wish I was a daytime drinker.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh those giant cookies are pure evil!! I got fat on them the first time round, back in my college days. But I'm sure you didn't want me to say that! lol
ReplyDeleteI'm very proud of Stew to stand up to you and refuse to get chocolate. Any man that can tell a woman NO when she's wanting chocolate needs an award! Give him a big hug from me and tell him WELL DONE!!
You could have had my pedometre! I am sure it would have loved all the attention after such neglect.
ReplyDeleteLOL @ your use of duct tape...I want to see pictures when you do it to these two!
Love the ferns.....gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHow are they (teenagers) ever going to survive without you doing everything for them when they go flatting????????
I remember thinking that that my mum was the mother from hell because if any of us kids were arguing she would come up with the worst punishment. There is 4 kids and 3 of us within 3 years. Mum's best punishments were to make us sit on the couch and hold hands (the absolute worst), clean each others rooms and another great one was to clean the skirting boards with a tooth brush and bucket full of water. Geez that women was cruel with her punishments but we all laugh at it now as we find it hilarious.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Kimi
I'm going into town to get some duct tape.... my kids drive me mad fighting!! Imagine that .... peace while cooking dinner!!??
ReplyDeleteOh and for the record .... this morning 91!! *hangs head in shame* Will I ever learn Chris??
LOL @ Kim ..... My mum used to make us stand next to each other and bump our heads together!! OMG!! That was nasty!!
ReplyDeleteChris...I was joking about Ewen ripping my dress! OH DEAR! COME IN SPINNER! Do you know how much CASH this dress cost me??? L O T S ! Nobody will be ripping it!
ReplyDeleteI so don't want kids after listening to the fights those pair have! LOL!
My mum had a leather strap from one of her hand bags. I thought I would do the decent thing and tried to get rid of it by flushing it down the loo!!
ReplyDeleteOh Chris...it's OK to admit you were sucked in by my WIT! :P
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up about the CHops slip - you can tell the world his name is Ewen - I have a link to our wedding registry which will tell the world that our names are NOT crankybee and chops! LOL!
oooooooooooooo retail theorpy is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletelooks like you've got some choice things there!!!! mickey as!!!
Hope you have some peace in your house! Sometimes I think I'm lucky I have just one child...
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had some shopping fun...always can put you in a better mood.
I've got a few pedometers and don't use them. You could have had one of mine too.
I had a similar day re: chocolate. I polished off some cookie dough. I'm chalking it up to PMS, too. ugh.
ReplyDelete"I even tried to get Stew to go out and buy chocolate, but he wouldn't.... good man that" haha... this made me laugh! How often does this happen to me and i crack the shits at adam and then later i turn to him and said "thank you" lol... god women are bitches ;)
ReplyDeleteI could with trying ou the duct tape thing at some stage, they can be right terrors sometimes. And isn't Stew just doing his job well by refusing to get you the chocolate, go STEW. My huby would just pull a unimpressed face while looking at me lik he could see the kilos going back on my body...just makes me want to hurt him terribly.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you doing to do with yourself with the teenagers gone and none of that washing to do??? Shopping to full up the new wrdrobe I bet aye ;-).
THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE NAME REX! NOTHING! NOTHING AT ALL!
ReplyDeleteAND FERGUS IS HELL COOL TOO!
*so there!*
I actually hate Tuesdays more then Mondays, if that is possible!
ReplyDeleteLOL about the duct tape and chair- whatever works for you!!! :-)
LOL @ Cranky getting cranky. There's nothing wrong with the names Rex and Fergus.....if you're naming staffys! Claws back in - I'm kidding! It could be any dog's name ;oP
ReplyDeleteI want chocolate.
ReplyDeleteI need to get me a St Stew!!!
Webcam? Cool!
ReplyDeleteYes it is rather odd that we have similar tastes. Must be that parallel universe thing happening. Most definitely you can't go wrong at the Starbuck.
ReplyDeleteI too think it is time for some retail therapy. Plan on hitting the stores on my way home for work. Looking for a nice top for the reunion.
Looks like a quiet day on this side of the planet as well. Do hope those kids settle down. Good Luck. Gotta go look for the duct tape. Bye
I told my husband yesterday that children are delightful.
ReplyDeleteThey go especially good with potatoes.
I was only half kidding.
I would have had the cookie too! And I have heard that duct tape will fix absolutely everything! Hehe. Take care!
