KNEES, ARM, WHAT NEXT?

I've been a bit of a clux lately.

First I fall and hurt my knees, and then on Monday I was walking through the laundry, carrying boxes of things to put in my sewing trolley.

I had a box of stuff in my arms and a long cutting ruler.  It was jutting out a bit.  And then it hit the wall and lodged there, while I continued walking.  So the bloody thing smacked  into my upper arm didn't it?  F#*k that hurt.  But I just carried on.

Yesterday I looked at my arm as it was really sore.

ABOVE:  😒 Yeah.  Pretty good bruise.

No wonder it's still sore.

And all I can think of?  Things go in threes.  So I'm in for something else yet.

I better keep away from buses.

Today I am going to sew up that third green braid runner, then make a start on quilting and binding them.  I want them done before Saturday's market at Tamahere.  Totally doable.

Oh and my new batting?  I managed to spend a couple of hours yesterday re-organising a few things in Crabby Quarters and the linen cupboard, and by cutting it into smaller pieces I found places for it ALL here!

ABOVE: I pulled the drawers out of that unit under the computer.  The stuff that was in the drawers went into other places.

ABOVE:  I got a good big piece of batting in there.

ABOVE:  I'd used all the batting that was up on that shelf.... so now it's full again.

I also have a big piece in the linen cupboard.  That should see me right for months and months.

ONWARD...

  1. Nicely done, it's good to have all your materials at home. How's the weather? It's sweltering here. There are loads of forest fires nearby. We live in the woods, so we are paying close attention. We have no AC. Yesterday, we taught Jethro the dog to swim. It was a bit chaotic at first - but I think we turned him into the proper water-loving dog a Golden Retriever should be, all within 1/2 hour!
