SIMPLE RUNNERS

 

OMG, it's another super cold, frosty morning!  I suppose the only consolation to this weather is, it's getting us used to freezing temperatures.  Cos, it's going to be even colder down in Christchurch!

Today I am going to make a start on assembling everything we will need to take with us on Sunday.

Stew will get our suitcases out of the attic tomorrow, then all we will have to do is pack.

Before I do that though, I have these strips of fabric which I am going to turn into very simple runners:

ABOVE:  I am doing them as an 'experiment' really, to see how simple runners go.  

I will do some sewing this morning, then after lunch, start my prep for our little jaunt away.

ONWARD...

I just looked outside... and its an even heavier frost than yesterday.  I'm staying in bed. I just turned the heatpump on, and I'm not getting up until the house has warmed up.

    I have been thinking about Christchurch, and even though you are both adults I was thinking you might enjoy checking out the Margaret Mahy playground. It is very central and very cool. Keep warm!
