FISHY CARDS

ABOVE: here's the latest batch of Kiwi Cards... these ones all have a fish... it's actually a button! But perfect for the cards.

I had a lot of fun doing these ones... I feel like I am slowly getting more 'adventurous' with the cards... I just hope like hell the owner of the shop in Whitianga likes them.

Today... I am going out to get a couple of things I've run out of, and to price a parcel of cards to USA. After that, I'm working on more of the baby quilts... there is still so much to do with them!
ABOVE: Quilt No #1... see... my sashings match!!! I still have to put sashings around the outside and a couple of borders too... I had thought this one would only fit a cot, but it's a lot bigger than I thought. I also hadn't planned on putting the wee dog block into a quilt... but somehow I put it in without realising! Oh well... it looks cute eh?
My garage door has been giving me the shits! It keeps jamming ever since I kinda backed into it... so today I finally gave up and rang the insurance company to make a claim to get it fixed. Some bloke is due around here shortly to inspect it. Yaaaaa.
My dogs have fleas! Teddy had been knawing his rump and made a mess.. I only noticed last night. *sigh*... got to bath them tonight in flea shampoo... another yaaaa!` Two dogs bathed and de-flea'd... I hope! I gave Coco a trim too.... now she looks like a two year old attacked her with scissors! But the difference between a good cut and a bad cut is only 6 weeks .. right???
End of Day: I ended up with a friggin nasty headache after bathing the dogs, I think it was the flea shampoo getting up me nose! Ikkkkk. Spent the evening sewing. Trying to practise 'free motion sewing' on my machine. What a trial! nite nite.

A BELLY....

So.... who's is it?

Sick of this yet? lol

Number # 7 Grandbaby, courtesy of Amanda and Andrew! Due in February.. and I can't wait!

Stew and I are thrilled to bits for them... they have wanted a baby of their 'own' for ages and it took quite a while for this wee one to happen. Good things are worth waiting for eh?

Today: off to patchwork.... still working on the baby quilts... some of the blocks are going to be pictures for Christmas ... or held for the next few grandbabies. *smiles*

ONWARD...
OOOOPS! I forgot to publish! It was 'saved' only.. so here is today's post... rather late.

Patchwork today was nice.... I came home afterwards and have been doing housework ever since. Monday's are the pitts.

Q: Did Brylee enjoy the rugby? She seemed to enjoy it... and does want to go again! That surprised me.
Q: Do we know what the new grandbaby is? Nope... not yet!

Next scan is in about 3 weeks, hopefully they will find out then.

Been a busy afternoon.... started working on yet another block for a baby quilt... it's the Hippo/Rhino one again... cos I love it! *smiles*

Yaaa.. I have 6 blocks ready to be joined together on one of the quilts! OOOO fun.

End of Day: spent the evening putting 6 blocks together... AND I managed to match up the sashings! First time I've done THAT! lol nite nite.

HAMILTON TODAY

We are heading to Hamilton today... I've got some curtains for our Granddaughter Rena's bedroom..... it will be nice to see them again and see how they have settled into their new home.

Hopefully we will catch up with Amanda and Andrew too.

It's supposed to be another wet and miserable day again... so no point hanging around home to do any gardening (*snort*) ... as if Stew WANTED to eh?
lol

It will be nice to take the day off and do nothing!

So, until we get back... I'll leave you with a couple of 'funnies':

ONWARD...
MY god, what a day! It rained all the way to Hamilton, and at times it was so heavy you could hardly see! I was busting for a piddle but we couldn't stop as I would have gotten drenched getting in and out of the car.. so I held on till we got there! Not a nice feeling I can assure you!

ABOVE: Kelly had a haircut! It is really cute, and makes her look more like an 'adult' than before! lol... she is always being mistaken for being much younger than she is (28)... I had the same 'problem' when I was younger too.

ABOVE: wee Rena. She loves it when we visit, she loves playing with Brylee and Griffin.
Now that we are home... it's time to get dinner sorted, washing dried... bla bla bla.... as another week looms. Only 2 more weeks until the school holidays!
End of Day: I managed to make 8 more cards this evening while watching the telly... they are just a wee bit different from the other ones. Will show ya tomorrow, for now... it's 11.03pm and I'm off to bed! nite nite.

HALF FULL... OR HALF EMPTY?

I'd like to think I'm a half full type of person. But truth be known... I'm more like a half empty type of person now. Life has thrown some pretty nasty curve balls my way over the years. It wears you down and makes you very pessimistic.

So, my glass is half empty. I wish it was half full.

I am always waiting for the other shoe to fall... for the third thing to happen, for the phone to ring with bad news (it's never good news)...

I don't know why I felt like writing this today. Just did.
What sort of person are YOU?

Today: well I'm sure we will end up going to a mall for lunch, it's become a 'tradition' in our lives.

Later on today Stew and the kids are going to a rugby game, Auckland vs. Wellington at Eden Park... I am SO GLAD I ain't going! I can think of nothing worse than having to sit and watch a rugby game in the cold... I just hope it doesn't rain or Brylee is going to be miserable. She WANTS to go! I bet it's the first and last game she ever wants to go to! LOL

I am hoping to get some serious Spring Cleaning done this weekend too. Things like all the light switches (and surrounds) cleaned, cupboards, window sills ... stuff you don't do on a weekly basis. Yaaaaa... I can almost feel spring coming.

I REALLY LOVE STEW... he's spring cleaned my kitchen! What a man. I am sewing that piece of fabric I bought yesterday into a curtain for the spare bedroom..it was too dark for Griffin's room. It is gunna be quite funky in my sewing room!
Well, the weather has turned to shit again... raining .... but not too cold. We are having hot chips for lunch! EVIL I know... but nice for a change. I can't remember the last time we had hot chips for lunch!!!

ABOVE: *sigh*... she doesn't make it easy for me does she! Little tart.

ABOVE: Finished! The lilac tones the fabric down a bit... but I love it... it's bright and cheerful! Busy room, busy curtains.

Stew and the kids will be heading off soon to the rugby .. and it's pissing down out there! Rather them than me.

It's dark, and the family are out at rugby... and it's quiet here... and a bit spooky on my own in the evening! It doesn't happen very often... in fact I can't remember the last time I was home alone in the evening! I don't know if I like it! Going to turn the telly on for some noise!

End of Day: the family got back, all happy as Larry... had a good night. Been watching a bit of telly... time to hit the sack. nite nite.

IF I HAD TO PICK...

ABOVE: the dogs on Stew's knee last night. Coco had been going nuts running around the room like a dog on crack.... and I took a few photos... as ya do... and

ABOVE: Coco, so adorable, all fluffed up and panting...

ABOVE: How could you not love her? She's such a sweet little girl.

ABOVE: And Teddy.... I mean, how could anyone not love that face? It's his "lookit me! lookit me!" face. LOL

ABOVE: Only Teddy could be this 'butt ugly' and get away with it! We love him to bits. And my god does he know it!

Today I'm off to the Hospice shop again. I hope it's busy. And I hope I don't see or find anything to buy. *sigh*

ONWARD... hey leave a comment, I ain't feeling the love! I'm freezing today... and crabby.

OH yeah, I ain't getting a new vege garden now. Stew made it quite clear last night that he does not want another garden to weed, he hates weeding/gardening. So, unless I want to spend my time weeding AND keeping the housework up to date.. I better not do another garden. I suppose he has a point, we only really like getting lettuces and tomatoes from the summer garden, so I will stick to the existing one.

But... (we) I do want more fruit trees, so I will have him out there at some point soon digging holes... just you watch me! Maybe in the rain too.. as it is supposed to rain over the weekend AGAIN....
HI! I did an extra long shift at the shop today... filling in for someone who was away sick. I found TREASURE today!
ABOVE: this wooden thingee for all the letters and paper crap I seem to accumulate on the kitchen bench ($5)! What a buy!
ABOVE: these totally gorgeous old bellows, well used and loved, and for only $4! I couldn't resist them.
ABOVE: More booties and baby stuff....

ABOVE: some brand new net... not sure what I'll do with it yet, and two really lovely blue striped pillowcases, which I am going to chop up for applique...

ABOVE: and FINALLY, this piece of heavy cotton fabric, which is amazing.... and I might be making a new roman blind for Griffin's room out of it ... not sure yet. Hopefully it is big enough for his window.

Right, that's IT! I did well today didnt' I? Off to have a VERY LATE LUNCH now. It's 2.55pm!!!

End of Day: an easy evening... left overs for dinner. His nibs is watching rugby, I've been sewing, kids and dogs are in bed. It won't be long before I am in bed too...it is, afterall... 11.30pm! Sheesh it's easy to forget the time when you are busy. nite nite.

PARCELS!

Don't ya just love getting parcels in the post? Well yesterday I got not one, but TWO parcels!

I knew what one was but had no idea about the other!

ABOVE: and this is what was in the 'other'... masses of stickers and odds and bobs from my blogger friend Blondie in Taupo! How lovely... now I don't actually use stickers on my cards, but they will come in very handy for other projects... so THANK YOU 'Blondie'... who isn't Blonde at all ... ha ha ha!
ABOVE: Now this is what I WAS expecting! A cooling pad for my lovely new laptop, from my dear friend Chris D down in Palmerston North. Ain't it cute! Pink... my 2nd most favourite colour! THANK YOU Chris, you are a doll.

TODAY: well... got to take the boy to his Speld lesson. Might take a book to read today... Or have a car - nap, whatever happens... it will be restful. *smiles*

ONWARD...
Home from taking the boy to his lesson. My gawd it's a foul day out there! Wet and windy and even a bit cold! I'm going to have me lunch then continue doing cards this afternoon. I WAS gunna go dig me new vege garden, but honestly... it's just too wet! I don't mind getting a little wet, but I would get drenched out there. No thanks.
I have spent most of the afternoon sorting out the first lot of cards I am to deliver to Whitianga. It was harder than I thought to just pick a certain number of each size.. I had to get a good 'mix' and it was HARD! Anyway, that is done now. I then made these:
I am hoping the Whitianga Shop will be interested in some 'pretty, girly' cards! LOL... if not, I'm sure I can find a use for them!
Cooking dinner now... mince pie. YUM.
End of Day: hmmm... can't be too many bloggers around today... havn't heard from many for sure! Oh well. I'm outta here, it's time for bed. nite nite.

YA, I'M NOT GOING OUT TODAY, I CAN CHILL!

I quite like wednesdays. I really don't have to go out anywhere.

Today I'm just going to revel in being at home, in the peace and quiet.
Probably will do some sewing.

Might even do some more housework.

How boring can I get?

HELL... I might even get on the cross trainer... my butt would thank for me for it! I'm sure.

I read blogs about weight loss every day... and I applaude you girls who are challenging yourselves to lose 'XYZ' by a certain time. I wish I had the motivation. But I don't. I am almost at the point where I wish I could just be happy with how I am and live my life regardless of what I weigh. Wouldn't that be great? To never feel like a fat, useless, unfit git again?

But knowing me, I will stress about what I weigh until the day I die. And what would I have achieved? Nothing but stress.
So, maybe I will try to just try to live and enjoy my life, and if I ever get back into 'dieting' mode, and 'fitter me' mode... well that will just be a bonus!

Cos one thing is for sure, I am miserable always thinking about what I weigh, what other people will think of me... bla bla bla.

I've just been yakking to the owner of Mosaic in Whitianga. She has sold ALL of my cards! And wants more now. So it looks like we will be going up there in the coming school holidays to deliver her first order... and she's made it easier for me to keep on top of supplying her... I can deliver on a monthly basis until Christmas. Yaaa.. it acutally means I have a larger order from her now!

Martine has requested a photo or two of the dogs, so without further ado:
ABOVE: yeah THANKS Martine, we were asleep!
ABOVE: How's this? A good pose for ya? Well, it's the best I can do, I wanna go back to sleep...ZZZzzzzzz....
ABOVE: Whot? Me, look at you.....zzzzzzz....
ABOVE: MmmmKay. Does this do it for ya? zzzzzzz....
LOL... they are both asleep again. So cute. And me.. I'm off to get some lunch....
Wow, I kinda got carried away making cards this afternoon... I had forgotten how much I love making them, having taken a couple of weeks off from them and doing sewing instead! And the best thing is I have got about 10 cards to go and I will have finished the next 4 months worth of orders! Choice.
Dinner tonight is going to be left-over beef stew so I don't even have to cook tonight. Excellent.
End of Day: a neat day. I ended up making 15 cards this afternoon/evening, which was a good effort. nite nite.

PRINTER ILLITERATE

So, am I the only person who has a printer/copier and doesn't use it cos it's too complicated?

Well. I'm not any more! I got Stew to lift it down from the top shelf above my computer so I could see the buttons and instructions... and last night I managed to scan and copy a couple of quilt patterns from a borrowed book! Yaaaa... I am no longer printer illiterate. The possibilites are now endless... oooo the patterns I can copy ... maybe not sew, but copy is a start!

Today? Think I will go out and cruise the main.... window shop in other words. I have some wee pieces of fabric to pick up from the patchwork shop I go to on Mondays... just off cuts and ends... all only $1 each. Good for little projects or blocks that require little bits here and there.... like the Noah's Ark blocks. Not sure what else I will do, depends on the weather.

I'd like to do some gardening... (STOP LAUGHING STEW).... I really want to get my summer garden ready soon.

ABOVE: ooo lots of lovely wee fabric bits! I can use them to make all sorts of things. Adds to me stash. One's stash is so important! lol

Home again, time to do some serious housework... wonderful I'm sure.

And I may have to knuckle down and make more cards yet.. I have not finished the Whitianga order yet... almost there.

I have been good! Done the vacuming, tidied up the linen cupboard and read some blogs on the new laptop. It's taking a while to get used to this new laptop... the keyboard is a bit different from me old one, and the space key is not as sensitive, so I keep tapping it and not getting a space... which is rather frustrating. But I will get used to it.

My girlfriend Chris D down in Palmerston North has found me a pad for using under the laptop... it keeps it cool. I couldn't find one here ... so she found one for me! Yaaaa. AND it's PINK!!! How cute. I will show you all when it arrives. Can't wait.

What else? Well I have a really yummy beef stew cooking in the crock pot... this family loves beef stew. Might get off me butt now and do a bit more housework... getting hot sitting here in the lounge with the heater on!

End of Day: another day done and dusted... just a normal day to be sure. nite nite.

PATCHWORK...IEP...ETC.

First up today I am going to Patchwork class.... but can only stay for an hour as I have to attend an IEP meeting for Griffin up at the school. I think these meetings are a waste of time... as they can't get the funding to give him any more help than they are already giving... which is 5/8 th's of fuck all. Oh excuse my language... I'm sure! (lol) But really, they say they are going to do this, that and the other thing and don't follow up. Pfffffft. So over banging my head against a brick wall.

Onto something much nicer...

ABOVE: we went out yesterday and bought me a new laptop... it's teeny tiny and oh so cute... I have to charge and deplete the battery 3 times before it's up and running optimally.... once it is I can sit and read blogs in my lounge chair again in comfort! Yaaa hooo!

ABOVE: Stew on the new computer last night 'talking' to Amanda on MSN Chat... with a video link ... so we could see her and talk to her .... it's so neat having that function again. My PC does not have that.

Righty ho... better go get the day started.... kids to school, etc. Stew had to be in at work really early this morning to sort out how to run the Christchurch Call Centre from here in Auckland.... at least until they can access their building in Christchurch again after the earthquake.

ONWARD...

Patchwork was lovely, I got the bear block blanket stitched. Then I went to the school... where I heard all that they were doing...and listened to his teacher say what he was doing in class, saw a sample of his 'writing' and just sat there and cried. Felt a fool. Left feeling like they were doing all they could, given the funding... and if it wasn't for us taking him to Speld lessons he would simply not be doing as 'well' as he is now. They certainly realise that he will need assistance with his reading/writing for literally all of his school life, and more assistance will be provided as and when he needs/qualifies for it.

I hope they are not empty promises.

It is now 1pm and I still havn't had breakfast or lunch, so that's MY next priority. Food.

Kids just got home from school... Brylee had a sealed letter for me. From the Principal. It was not good. It was BAD. She has been hitting out at kids at school... so far 5 TIMES this term! Last friday she split open some boys lip. FUCK. She is being referred to RTLB AGAIN. I can see lots of problems ahead for her if she thinks hitting someone will solve her problems/frustrations/anger. And why did the school not tell us until she had done it 5 friggin times already???

I. AM. SO. OVER. THIS. SHIT.

End of Day: feeling better, know there is not much we can do about little miss madam. She is a product of her genes. We have talked to her about her behaviour till we are blue in the face and it makes no difference. Maybe she will outgrow it. As if. Not very positive I know. Deal. nite nite.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

Hi, it's Father's Day here in NZ... and hopefully Stew is still sleeping! It's his turn for a sleep in ... once he's awake I will give him his gift... which is a really swish tie I got from An Eye For Art in Manukau. I will show ya later.

I am thrilled to bits with the 3 quilt blocks I made using my own patterns.... a frog, a bear and a rhino! I just got pictures off the net and free-hand drew them bigger and so on. Simple!

ABOVE: my cute Rhino... and:ABOVE: an equally cute Bear...... who I havn't done the blanket stitch on yet... but when I do his legs etc will stand out more.

Off now to do a bit of housework before Stew wakes up.... well after all that, Stew did not get a sleep in afterall...as his friggin phone rang at 7am and then again at 8am with clients wanting answers to questions. Grrrrrr.

Did they not think 'HEY IT'S SUNDAY, IT CAN WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW???" Idiots.

We have to go grocery shopping today, so will have lunch at Sylvia Park then get the groceries. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

LOOK! LOOK!... I made a Shih Tzu block at midnight last night!!!! Again I copied a picture off the net and redid it:

ABOVE: my Shih Tzu block... we all love it and I think we will have to keep it... maybe it will become a cushion?

Ya, the shopping is done. And I bought sommit. Guess what???

Stew had to go into work to sort out a few things, he took the kids with him... EXCELLENT! This means I get an hour or two to myself. I can read a magazine or something. Wondering what my next animal block will be???? Will think of one soon no doubt.

End of Day: quite happy about how the day went, heard from a few of the kids, which was nice. Looking forward to having a nice relaxing evening with Stew. nite nite.

Saturday, September 04, 2010

FROGGY... HE'S REALLY CUTE!

Well? Do you think he's cute or what! I think he's awesome... and can't wait to do the blanket stitch ... that will enhance him even more. Thinking of giving him yellow suckers on his toes too....

Today: not sure what we will get up to today, it's pretty crap weather. Might just stay home and get some housework done. Also want to work on getting a new vege garden dug up on our back yard.. that area gets way more sunshine and will be a much better place for me vege garden.

Poor Stew is NOT looking forward to having to do that! But luckily for me... he always does what will make me happy! lol... it's that or I'll be impossible to live with! *smiles*... noooooo, not really!

There was a big earthquake in the South Island of New Zealand in the middle of the night... we did not feel a thing as we are hundreds of miles north of where it struck.

Christchurch is the biggest city in the South Island. It has had a lot of damage done, but so far by the look of it, no fatalities, which is a miracle. It was a 7.1 magnitude earthquake:

ABOVE: a couple a photos from the net of Christchurch, the centre of the quake. It would appear there has been a lot of structural damage to older buidings and infrastructure (water, communications etc).

Stew is going to be affected by this quake, he just got a phone call from the General Manager of his company. Their company's call centre is in Christchurch, so Stew will have to 'man the phones' until Monday as no one will be able to ring the Call Centre in Christchurch, as the central business area of Christchurch in is 'lock down'. Oh yep, he's gunna love that... but it's 'all hands to the pump' as he just said.

Stew and I have just been lazing the day away! I had lots of plans for doing a new vege garden, quilting etc... but instead we have just blobbed out all day! Must be tired.

Sadly, there was another very bad happening here in New Zealand this evening, a small plane crashed down in the South Island and killed all 9 people on board. It has not been a good day for many.

End of Day: and I am happily sewing in my room... kids are quiet watching ICarly on the telly, and his nibs is happy watching rugby. All is good here. nite nite.

NO MUM!

ABOVE: oh hell... she's got that friggin thing out again.. NO MUM, I DON'T WANT ME PHOTO TAKEN!

ABOVE: Ha ha, I'ze too fast for you woman! But...if you insit, I'll give you me UGLY FACE:

ABOVE: Happy now??? No? OK... here's a better one:

ABOVE: serve you right for pestering me AND making me all wet! Pfffffft. women.

ABOVE: Coco was a bit bemused by all the fuss, but she posed beautifully of course. Being a girl an all! *smiles*
I'm off to the Hospice Shop again today... Hopefully I won't find any treasures cos I'm broke. Patchwork is an evil hobby. lol
ONWARD...
Home again.... and I did not find any treasures today, but I did buy a big jar of marmalade! Yum... homemade marmalade, and after 'work' I went down to Spotlight to get some more background fabric for the baby quilts.
Kids just arrived home from school... seems Brylee has been a right little tart at school AGAIN and got sent to the Principal's office for slapping someone... sheesh what a girl! She is her own worst enemy sometimes!
I almost forgot! It's been two years TODAY that we moved into this house.... two years in Auckland. Sheesh time flies. I feel like we have been here forever now.
End of Day: and man is the weather packing it in again! Stormy night ahead by the sound of it! I love storms. Spent the evening designing a frog for one of the quilts.... think I did a good job adapting a picture I got off the net. Will show ya tomorrow, have to cut out the fabric and fuse it onto the background fabric first.
nite nite.

WALK IN THE COUNTRY ... HOPEFULLY WITH ME DOGS

Today, I take Griffin to his Speld Lesson... and today, if it's fine I plan on taking the dogs with me and walking them in the countryside.

I am going to ring the tutor first to make sure there are no nasty big dogs around her area that might eat us! I really freak out if I see a big (or even small) dog not confined to it's property! I'm a chicken. I've had a nasty experience with a vicious dog before... which involved 2 years of it terrorising me before it attacked me and another girl I was with. She got bitten in the leg quite badly... and I have been terrified of unrestrained dogs ever since.

Once I'm home again I plan on working on my quilts, making a few more cards... housework.. you KNOW... all the usual stuff!

ONWARD.. hope to be back later with some lovely photos of our walk.

Well... the tutor say's it's safe out her way for the dogs.... so they are going with me. Yaaaaa. They are gunna love that.

Love it... they did! They both had a ball.. talk about a sniff-feast! Coco was beside herself with the wonder of it all... she drove me nuts darting here and there and getting her lead all tangled up with Teddy's! They left the house nice and clean too.....
ABOVE: a pukeko in a swamp.
ABOVE: two grubby dogs walking on the road...

ABOVE: our grubby wee girl. She truly loved being outdoors in the mud.

ABOVE: then it rained and I was SO BLOODY GLAD I'd thought to take the dog crate with me.... so I could put them in it and not get dirty dog paw prints all over the inside of me car!

ABOVE: a wee video of the dogs 'meeting' a horse today! The horse thought the dogs were idiots, he snorted at them, did a wee hop, skip and jump and ran at them! Coco was more petrified than anything else I think! Teddy just wanted to stand and 'defend' ... so cute.

Home now, almost time to get the kids from school... which I might do as it's threatening to rain again.

End of Day: it's been quiet. Stew is going to be late home again tonight... so I've fed the kids and myself and now... just chillin out ... cutting more of the quilt patterns... nite nite.

Wednesday, September 01, 2010

BIG NOAH BLOCK...

ABOVE: this is the biggest of the blocks. I put it on a lovely light green background fabric (I ran outta white).... but as I'm not doing the big quilt it does not matter. I think this block will be a wall hanging...

Today I will blanket stitch it then put borders on etc. That should be fun. It needs a fair bit of hand work too... stitches in embroidery thread for his beard... hair.... etc.

I also have to post a couple of cards ... one to my Mother's partner.. .it's Father's Day on Sunday, and while he's not my Father... I think it would be nice to send him one anyway. And I want my Mum to see one of my cards... cos I'm quite proud of them.

I bet Stew expects some sort of SPECTACULAR card as well.... lol! I MIGHT just make him one...

**** PEPSI UPDATED **** PEPSI UPDATED **** PEPSI UPDATED **** PEPSI UPDATED

So tired this morning! Forgot to take my pill last night, so didn't get to sleep for ages ... AND Coco, the little tart, decided to scratch on the laundry door and bark at 12.30 and wouldn't stop for ages. I don't know what was up her nose, but she got right up mine! Feeling incredibly crabby this morning.... and upset about some things in the background. *sigh*... just when ya think things are going so well eh? Some bastard comes along and kicks you one. So over 'stuff'.

I've been out, posted me cards to Mum and Partner, had a natter with a girlfriend (Thanks Jackie) which was lovely, then popped into the mall and got some stuff to make another cake. I know... emotional eating at it's worst, and I'm only hurting myself... but I just want to! Right now I dont' give a shit.

ABOVE: how cute is this? It would be even nicer if I could get the little tart to sleep like that ALL NIGHT. But still a lovely photo of the two of them curled up together.

Feeling a bit better now, had a lovely long yak with my niece in Australia, she always knows how to cheer me up. Well.... her and the smell of another ginger cake baking that is! OMG you should smell it!

MY. LIPS. ARE. SEALED. that is all.

End of Day: Stew was on time getting home today, nice man. Fed the family chicken and veges, followed by cake. Yes I had some. Was darn nice too. nite nite.
