WASTE NOT.... WANT NOT!

I almost bought another shelving unit for my Craft/Sewing room the other day.... but now... I am using the redundant TV Cabinet from the Family Room. It fits in there perfectly! Yaaaa!

Now that I have finished the 'special orders'.. I will get back into making the Kiwi Cards for the Whitianga shop. It's so much fun having something constructive (and slightly profitable) to do! LOL
No more being bored shitless!
Today is Griffin's Speld Lesson ... which means I go to Pukekohe for a mosey around again! Cool.

When I get home, it's blog reading time....

ONWARD... So, I'm sitting in the car waiting for Griffin's lesson to finish... having decided not to go to Pukekohe afterall... and out of my car window I can see beautiful countryside:
ABOVE: I am sure that's a daffodil... let's look closer...

It is, it really is... Spring is on it's way... Yaaaaa! Cute stance that blackbird took too eh? LOL
So, I was either going to read while waiting... or punch out stars!

ABOVE: the stars won... and now I have R.S.I... I'm bloody sure of it. My hands are aching from all the pressure required to use that punch! Oh well... some bugger has to do it... cos I use lots of stars on my cards.

I am going to read me some blogs now.... DONE!

AND I changed my Header again... I love the shell painting so much I just had to do it! *smiles*... off to get dinner ready now.. should do something healthy tonight! lol

End of Day: and I'm happy to say I have finished 13 cards in 2 days, so I'm 3 ahead of my self-imposed minimum per day of 5... yaaaa! Now.. I'm tired, got work at the Hospice Shop tomorrow... so off to bed for me.
nite nite.

BEFORE... AND AFTER...

Right, I have been a tease long enough! Here is the new painting:

ABOVE: Family Room wall before ....

ABOVE: And after!

ABOVE: another view.... we had to take out the large corner TV Cabinet and replace it with a small one we had in the lounge, which I was using as a coffee table in the corner!

ABOVE: a close up.... now shells might not float YOUR boat... but to me this painting was just irresistable! My sort of colours too... it just had to be mine!

Today: well much as I'd like to just stay home and stare at the painting... I am going to work at the Hospice Shop again till lunchtime... they are short staffed and I don't mind helping them out. It's for a very good cause.

ONWARD...

Home again.... not very busy in the shop today.... and I didn't buy a thing!

Came home, had lunch and did some housework... all riveting stuff !

Kids are due home soon... not much else to blabber on about so I'll go and get something out of the freezer for dinner I suppose!

End of Day: spent the evening making Kiwi Cards again. Only got 5 done... need to get to bed now... it's almost 11pm. nite nite.

P.S. : going to devote tomorrow afternoon to blog reading... 'see' you then... LOL.

MORE TEASING..

ABOVE: another 'snippet'... *snigger*.

TODAY: I am working at the Hospice Shop... they are short staffed this week and I have been called in. I am their 'ON CALL' girl... lol! So that means I will be in my element... around adults, in a shop, chance to buy something.... WHAT COULD BE BETTER?

ABOVE: a little video of Coco And Griffin yesterday morning....

ABOVE: two of the baby cards I made last night....ONWARD...

Back from the shop... I bought a few things (as I do!)... and I got to pick up my Highlander from the Panel Beaters! Yaaaaaa... now I can go and pick up my new picture too... will have to be after the kids are home from school though... drat!

I will put a photo up of the new painting tomorrow!

WOMBAT: I use double-sided tape, PVA glue AND a glue stick!

The Picture: NO ONE has guessed exactly what it is ... except 2 people who were on the right track!

Home AGAIN... I picked up the painting on my own in the end... the kids wouldn't have fitted in the car WITH the painting... so Stew came home to watch them.

We are now in the process of moving furniture around so the painting will fit on the wall!

ABOVE: it's BIG eh?

ABOVE: *sigh*... moving furniture yet again!

ABOVE: one of the FEW benefits of having little kids at home still... they get to dust the lower cupboards! *smiles*

End of Day: NO Amanda, the painting does not have your name on it! I am going to leave it to Grandbaby No# 7.. whenever I get a GrandBaby No# 7.... 7 is my favourite number afterall! Spending the evening re-arranging stuff in my Craft/Sewing room. nite nite.

JUST TO KEEP YOU GUESSING...

ABOVE: Here is a 'snippet' of the new picture we bought yesterday for the house. Any guesses what it's of? (It measures about 2 metres X 1 Metre) I am so excited about it! I am literally counting the days until I can go and pick it up!

Today: it's Patchwork, where I will continue cutting out the Noah's Ark fabric... I am only doing this quilt in class, so it will take a while I reckon. I haven't decided yet whether I will do the whole quilt or not yet.... I am thinking of MAYBE doing each block as an individual 'piece' and framing it for the baby's wall. Not sure yet.

Well that's about 'it' for now.... got to get kids ready for school....

ONWARD...

It's another wet, miserable day, so I decided to drive the kids to school.... We get in the 'loaner' car and back out the driveway.... and SHIT! There is this awful scraping noise coming from the car... I jump out and look all around the car.. can't see a thing.... so carry on to school... all the while I can hear this horrible noise.

So, I drive that car right back to where I got it from... the Panel Beaters... there's two blokes in the yard... they see me pull in and come right over to the car immediately! I am thinking, yep, the noise is that loud they can hear it too!

Ummm... one of them bends down, reaches under the car and pulls out this:
ABOVE: yeah.... I really felt like a dick! I had been driving with this huge as piece of palm tree stuck under the car! Talk about 'Female Drivers'..... as if I didn't already feel like a twit for backing into my OWN GARAGE DOOR... *sigh*. The guys were really nice about it... they DIDN'T laugh at me... but I'm sure they did once I had driven off again.

So, that was the start of my morning... wonder what else I can get up to?

I was gunna go to Patchwork... but when I got back from the Panel Beaters I was hit with a killer headache and had to lie down for a while. .... and that 'while' lasted for 3 hours!!! I've woken up feeling much better.... but hungry! Serve me right for not having a proper dinner last night! I ate potatoe crips... YES I KNOW... evil.

Off to have something more decent now...

Where does the time go lately? I made 3 cards this afternoon... vacumed the floors, put dinner in the oven.. and bugger me if it's already dark out there! I just don't have enough hours in the day... particularly when I slept the morning away!!!
DERRR....

End of Day: and it's 11.28 pm... I got carried away making 4 baby cards for a girlfriend. I love the different things you can do with them! nite nite.

RAIN, RAIN, GO AWAY...

The weather here is just awful.

I am getting a bit tired of the rain we are having... it has been wet for almost a whole week now, maybe even longer... I have had to use the darn clothes dryer even!

And I hate having to use that thing... it costs so much to run... grrrrr.

Today: well Stew is having a sleep in, the kids are happily playing with Lego on the dining room table, and I am doing friggin housework. Yaaaa.
Probably later on in the morning we will go out to a mall ... just to get out of the house for a while. I am sure I will find SOMETHING interesting to blabber on about later .... so...

ABOVE: a sample of the 'Thank You' cards I made last night... what do you think of them? I love them... but I almost always do love the cards I make.. I'm biased that way ! ha ha ha!

SUE: what do YOU think? (yaaa, she loves them!)

... the sun has come out (probably won't last long) and Stew is finally outta bed... we are going out for lunch... think Albany Mall today.. which is on the North Shore (Auckland)... I hope to stop in at Milford too... there's a Stamp Shop there I want to visit. (if it's open)

ONWARD...
Back from our outing... went to Milford, got my stamps... then we almost decided to stay in Milford for lunch.... but then decided we would rather go to Albany Mall as planned.

Funny how you are MEANT to be in the right place at the right time eh? We walked into the Mall and the first thing I saw was an AMAZING painting on the wall of a shop we had to pass.... and it just drew me to it... I fell in love... looked at the price and felt like crying.

It was really EXPENSIVE... so sadly I walked away... but on a whim I thought I would show Stew ... and he bought it! Awwww what a man!!!
I would show you all it... but it was too big to get in Stew's car... so I shall have to wait until my Highlander is back home before I can pick it up and bring it home.

IT'S GORGEOUS.... I can't believe my luck.. that shop has NEVER had one like it before... and it's MINE!
WOMBAT: yes, the cards are a Thank You to Sue's helpers, who are doing a Walk For Breast Cancer.
End of Day: and it's been a neat day, I have almost finished the dozen Thank You cards.. moving on to a couple of other orders now... nite nite.

THANK YOU CARDS....

I have an order for a dozen 'Thank You' cards from a certain lady in the States... so today I'm going shopping for a 'Thank You' embossing folder for my Cuttlebug... then I can get into making them.

I need a change from making the 'Kiwi Cards'.... I'm looking forward to making something a bit different. I also have to make some 'Baby' Cards for a girlfriend down in Palmy too.... What fun!

Stew and Griffin are quite excited today... they have scored some free tickets to watch a rugby game here in Auckland this afternoon! Auckland Vs. Waikato... Stew is an avid Waikato fan/rugby fan... and Griffin loves it too... so they can do the 'boy thing' ...and us girls will go shopping! *smiles*.. I am sure Brylee will love some time with just me!

ONWARD...

It's a totally MISERABLE, WET day. Stew went out and bought the kids raincoats, it's that horrible. He's gone to the rugby with Griffin now... and while I WAS going to head out shopping, it's just too ikkkk to bother!

I am going to make some special cards... and Brylee is in 7th heaven watching her 'girly' programmes on the telly!

End of Day: wow my first post with NO PHOTOS in simply ages... feels weird.... but I just didn't have anything to show ya all! I've made 1/2 my order of 'Thank You' cards tonight... they are looking so cute! I will take a photo of them tomorrow.... nite nite.

DEFORESTATION

NO... not that sort of Deforestation... my sort!
I shaved me legs... (and a few other places)... the other night. I am SURE I lost a kilo! I hadn't shaved me legs since summer! OMG, I was tempted to get the tape measure and see just how long the hair on me legs was! I'm sure I could plait it.... well OK, maybe not, but you get the drift!

I'm sure Stew is ever so pleased not having to sleep next to a wooly woman anymore! LOL

Today: Hospice Shop... looking forward to it too. Time to get out and talk with other adult humans.

ABOVE: two of the cards I made last night... the photo is a bit dark... well I did take it at 11.20pm last night! lol I used ribbon and buttons on these ones, I think it rocks! I know I put far, far too much onto my cards (cost wise)... but I just want them to be as gorgeous as possible!

Work today was on/off busy and slow... but still great to be out and about. I scored this today:

ABOVE: a BRAND NEW cot mattress, which I can use for littlies when they come to stay, might get Stew to make a small bed base for it... it was only $20! AND....

ABOVE: all this patchwork fabric for only $3.... what a buy! So in all ... a sucessful but not too expensive day! lol... Stew will be pleased.

Kids are due home shortly, and I need to get some lunch! ....

End of Day: and Stew came home with chips, I made some dip ... so it was a nice way to end the week... I even had some of my 'tipple'... and made 9 more cards while watching tv. It's now 11.11pm, time to go nite nite.

SPOT THE DIFFERENCE...

ABOVE: who can tell what's new in here? My purchase from yesterday WAS....

Today: as long as the bloody internet behaves, I am dedicating my day to reading and catching up on all the blogs I have been neglecting over this week! Have ya missed me?

I love reading and commenting, just finding time is the problem at the moment! As soon as my SON comes and fixed my computer 'security' I will get a new laptop and then I can sit in comfort in me lounge chair in the evenings and read/comment to my heart's content. I HATE sitting at my PC cos it's in a doorway and I freeze me buns off if I sit there too long! And it's not comfy!

So, that's my plan for today.
Watch out for me... I will be popping by YOUR blog soon!...

ONWARD...

I have been reading/commenting for 4 LONG HOURS! I got through over 100 updates.. I can do no more for now. I'm knackered, I'm sure I've got 'COMPUTER ELBOW' or something! LOL.... need food... jellybeans JUST DON'T DO IT FOR ME.... I'm starving!

Wonder if anyone has guessed what is new? Must go read MY COMMENTS to see if anyone has!

dum dee doooooo.....

ABOVE: the NEW thing.. it's a CD tower lighthouse... and I love it... cos it's a lighthouse, and it's in blue and white of course! I ain't putting CD's in it either, it wouldn't look so pretty then. Well done if you guessed!

Still starving..... MUST. GET. OFF. ME. BUTT...

End of Day: and I lost track of time... dinner: takeaway's... ooops!
Made 6 cards tonight, I'm getting faster at making them now, which is great. nite nite.

NOT ME NORMAL WEDNESDAY...

WHAT do you get a puppy who's teething?
ABOVE: A Baby's Teething Toy eh! It says it's for 3+ months, well Coco is 5 months old...

And she loves it, Teddy... not so much. lol
ABOVE: two of the cards I made last night using the new shell fabric..It took me a while to figure out what colour combo's worked! Time consuming, I only got 4 made yesterday... and today I probably won't even get that many done.
Griffin's school class is going on a day outing to the Waitakere Ranges, it is on tomorrow, the day he is usually at his SPELD lesson. So he's going to Speld today... which means I get to go to Pukekohe to have a look-see what else is out there. Yaaaa.
Not much else to yabber on about right now... gotta get the kids ready for school....
ONWARD...
I have to make this quick, my internet connection keeps dropping off... so I can't get on the 'net for long... today it's raining and blowing a gale... hence the internet problems.
All good otherwise, Griffin has been to his lesson, I've been 'shopping' in Pukekohe... now off to pick up the kids from school... as it's still pissing down out there... totally foul weather!
End of Day: gawd I could scream! I wanted to read blogs/comment this afternoon/evening and my internet has been so on/off it's been impossible! Grrrrr... hope to catch up tomorrow! nite nite.

MUCH BIGGER THAN I THOUGHT...

ABOVE: this is the start of the first block in 'Noah's Ark' and I'm already thinking... it's going to be huge? And maybe I will make it a bit smaller? Not sure yet... it is a bit daunting seeing just how much I have to do... and will I be able to do it?

Today I HAVE TO go grocery shopping! Unless we are to starve... I think I must! *sigh*... and I hate.. hate... hate grocery shopping! Maybe if I do a bit of 'retail therapy' first I will feel better? LOL....

ONWARD... Where do I start? Hmmm... took my gorgeous Toyota Highlander into the Panel Beaters this morning, and they gave me this to use in the meantime:

It's a Nissan something or other... the only redeeming feature is that's it's BLUE... otherwise it's ummmm.... crappy. But, it will get me from 'A' to 'B' I suppose... just not very fast or comfortably!

I did the grocery shopping, Stew.. hold your breath, it was EXPENSIVE...!

When I got home... OOOOHHHH (CLAPPING MY HANDS) !!! Parcels from England AND America!!!!

ABOVE: this parcel came from 'C' in England.. lots of lovely wee gifts for the kids and me!!! AND the money owed... THANK YOU 'C'.

NEXT was two parcels containing the fabric I had ordered from the USA... talk about FAST DELIVERY!!!

ABOVE: the two shell fabrics.. I am positively DROOLING!!! And...

ABOVE: this fabric, which is going to be fantastic for my cards!!! (Froggy, I am thinking a card for your daughter with the VW van!)

Gawd, who needs to go shopping out in the mall when it can come to your door! I am so wrapt ! LOL... I know, I'm quite easy to please eh?

so... I unpack all the groceries... well all the frozen and fridge stuff anyway... and think... shit I'm hungry! And make myself a sandwich and sit down to enjoy it in front of the TV and I glance at the clock... bugger me! It's 10 to 3 and I have to go and pick up the kids as it's raining... NO WONDER I was hungry!

After 'lunch' I was hit with the "blah's" Just had no energy at all. Have not even thought about dinner for the family yet and it's 5.44pm! YIKES.... better pull finger and get on to it eh?

End of Day: almost forgot to do this last bit! Made 4 cards tonight with the new shell fabric... will show ya tomorrow. It's 11pm, time for this Tart to hit the sack. nite nite.

PATCHWORK TODAY...

Today at Patchwork Class I am finally going to make a start on my 'Noah's Ark' baby quilt. I have someone in mind for this quilt... but right now it's still a 'SECRET' .... just a couple more weeks and I will be able to tell you who!

While I really love making the cards, it will be nice to do some 'real' sewing .... lol!

ONWARD... well I'm back from Patchwork... I spent the entire time cutting out just the Rhino/Hippo/Parrot/Butterfly block pieces! This quilt is going to take AGES to complete!

Tis lunchtime... off to get something to eat...

YIKES ... where has the day gone? I have been busy doing housework, card making, getting dinner on (casseroled lamb chops in a thick mint sauce)... and now.... almost time to put the veges on too.

Seriously, I am just not finding time to read blogs right now... forgive me and I hope to be able to get back into the swing of it soon. There is just not enough hours in the day for me right now.. I am totally focused on getting the Whitianga order done, and now I also want to work on the baby's quilt too. *sigh*

End of Day: and I'm tired but sooooo happy! I have finished the first 100 cards for the Whitianga Order... only 150 to go! AND I am still loving it... which is saying something cos I usually get bored doing the same thing over and over again... but as each card is original and not a copy of any other.. it's fun, and that's what life is all about. Living, loving and having fun... and doing no harm to anyone else in the process! lol

nite nite.

A NEW MONTH!

How the hell did it get to be August already? This year is flying by.....

And today... don't know what our plans are.

It's supposed to piss down with rain for the next 4-5 days... oh Yaaaa!

I think today will be a 'housework' day.... get the washing done, vacuming, yadda, yadda....

How boring!

I really don't have anything else so far... so I'll bugger off and do that housework while Stew has a sleep in... his turn an all!

ONWARD...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDDlxmsciqY&feature=player_embedded... If you love the song Amazing Grace as I do... click on the link to hear it being sung by a gorgeous wee girl in Texas! I 'pinched' it from Joanna!

As forecast, the weather has packed it in and it's actually cold and wet today... first time I've felt really cold outside ... we popped out as I needed more envelopes for the cards, and I found a new border punch:

ABOVE: the border punch .. I bought it for the dots! I use little dots A LOT in my cards... we were given a free bacon sandwich outside The Warehouse Stationery shop from a Radio Station having a promotion, which was really nice. FREE too!

HOME NOW and Stew is busy being Mum in the kitchen, he's making us toasted sandwiches for lunch... mine are coming first. yaaaa....

I just had a 'nana nap'... and feel like crap now! All foggy in the brain. And don't ya have WEIRD dreams in the middle of the day? lol

ABOVE: first card for today, I used the new border punch... looks neat!

Stew is cooking dinner... I have no idea what it is? Smells nice though...

End of Day, and it's almost 11pm... my bedtime. I've made 6 cards tonight, so I am pleased about that. I aim for a minimum of 5 per day... to get my order filled and off my mind! nite nite.

OUT AND ABOUT, THEN A VISITOR

This will be quick...
This morning we will go out and about as per normal for a Saturday morning.

Later on this afternoon I am expecting my friend Chris D to arrive from Palmerston North... she is en route to London and will spend the afternoon here until she has to catch her flight ... she's in for a long haul trip!

She's going to Hartlepool where her late Husband's family are... she's taking his ashes to be scattered on his homeland. So, quite a special trip for her.

That's all from me right now.... back later.

ONWARD... ABOVE: Griffin only makes my bed so he can have fun arranging the pillows/cushion... todays effort is called a 'ROBOT' design! He is quite creative if you ask me. Love that kid.

We are off to visit the SIL in hospital now, she's going to be in there until at least Monday now...she must be wrapt! Still, it's better to be safe than sorry... she lives on her own in a fairly isolated area.
ABOVE: on our way to the hospital this morning, I saw this vehicle... it's a modified Toyota Van... like it!
Stew's sister has a viral infection the doctor's think... and she should be OK to go home tomorrow. Hope it's not 'catching' as we have all been exposed to her and her virus now!

Lunch in Henderson, then we went out to the airport and picked up Chris D, and she spent a few hours chillin at our place:

ABOVE: Coco certainly enjoyed her visit! Spoilt little tartlet! *smiles*... after dinner we took Chris back to the airport for the first leg of her journey... 10 hours to Los Angeles, to be followed by a 12 hour leg to London. THEN she has to catch yet another plane to Hartlepool! Rather her than me... though I envy her leaving our wet and cold climate for summer in the Northern Hemisphere.

End of a very busy day... and I can't stop yawning. Might just try to have an early night. nite nite.

TICKLED PINK

ABOVE: I adore this fabric. I bought some a few months ago... and can no longer get any here in New Zealand..... so I went 'shopping' on the 'net... and yaaaaa... I found some in New York, USA! I have ordered some.... plus a couple more fabrics... wonder how long they will take to arrive?

The choice from this site was amazing... I'm thrilled I have found it. It's called www.favoritefabric.com if you are interested in fabric!

Today: well I'm off to work at the Hospice shop all day... and Stew is going to the IEP meeting at school this afternoon instead of me. Yaaaa... I am sure the staff at that school see me coming and groan! lol ... and so they should! I am going to keep on their case until they follow through with thier promises.

ONWARD...

TOTAL CHANGE OF PLANS: my sister in law is being taken to hospital in an ambulance with chest pains.. I'm on my way to be with her right now. Back later...

It's later (2.30pm) and my SIL has been admitted to hospital for observation. Not sure if it's her heart (but probably not)... I (and the doctor) is thinking it might be Gall Stones. The symptoms are similar to a heart attack... I should know, having had Gall Stone attacks and me gall bladder out as a consequence.

Fingers crossed they can get her pain under control and it is something they can fix for her soon.

Stew went to the school IEP meeting, will get his 'debrief' tonight no doubt.

Off to relax for a while, today has been a bit rushed.

End of Day: no more news on the SIL, so she must be doing OK. Spent the evening making cards... watching tv.. now off to bed. nite nite.

Thursday, July 29, 2010

TOTAL BLISS!

ABOVE AND BELOW: Bliss.... my house is so clean and tidy!

AND why is this?........

ABOVE: THIS is why! I have banned the dogs from the living areas for today... I want to enjoy the tidiness for the day! And as I 'work' in the spare bedroom and they lie under my work table.. it's not like they are all alone eh? lol

Today I take Griffin to his Speld lesson again, which means I get to go to Pukekohe again.... yaaaaa! NOT that I can spend much money sadly... I have to pay for the Speld Teacher to attend Griffin's I.E.P. meeting at his school tomorrow. *sigh*... but it's a necessary expense to get the school working in the same way as his Speld Teacher. There is no point the school teaching him stuff he cannot ever learn... like how to write! He is never going to be able to write... they need to be teaching him to touch type and use a computer.

SO... ONWARD...

Back from Speld/Pukekohe... didn't buy much, just some more card (it's 40c a sheet cheaper out there!).. and a little punch thingee with 3 stars on it. Handy that will be as I put lots of stars on my cards.
Weather... crappy... one minute lovely and fine, next raining and cold. *Sigh*... going to have some lunch now... starving...
End of Day: and whoops! Didn't realise I hadn't been back on here since the afternoon! Oh well... I've been busy. Dinner/kids/making cards.... you know, just the normal sort of evening around here now. Time to bugger off to bed... nite nite.

IT SOUNDED WORSE THAN IT LOOKS!

For the SECOND time since we bought my gorgeous ROXY... I crashed her! We have a malfunctioning garage door.... and yesterday I opened the garage door, jumped in the car and started to back out... and crashed into the garage door because it had started to go down again.. ON IT'S BLOODY OWN!!! I felt sick. AGAIN.

ABOVE: the dent on the right hand side....

AND the left hand side...

...AND the broken tail light. *sigh*

I am taking my car into the panel beaters today for an assessment, and once he has the parts to repair it, I can get it fixed. Hopefully it won't be long. I hate seeing my car broken. AND I feel such a bloody fool.... fancy backing into the garage door when my car has a REAR REVERSING CAMERA!!! Obviously I wasn't looking into the camera... or I would have seen the garage door coming down again eh? Lesson learnt... USE THE FRIGGIN CAMERA, that's what it's there for.

No other plans for today, just get the car sorted out, then come home and make cards I suppose.

ONWARD... just remembered... the dogs are getting groomed today! Oh I can't wait to see Teddy all nice again! And Coco.. well I have no idea how she will look after being clipped all over!

THE CAR: will need an entire new back door, and the lights unit on the right hand side... so it is gunna cost several thousand dollars. YIKES! Expensive little mishap. And it won't be fixed until at least next week... but that's ok, as long as it's fixed eh?

Expecting the groomer at around 11, so am going to do some housework until then....

Yaaa... the groomer is here. She seems really nice. The dogs liked her too. Teddy is being groomed right now, then it will be Coco's turn.... which the groomer said won't be PERFECT as Coco is only a puppy and is bound to wriggle too much for her to do a really fantastic job on... but I expected that. Coco is going to freak out!

ABOVE: taa daaa! Two well groomed dogs! Don't they look adorable? Teddy's coat is a bit shorter than I would have liked, but the groomer was not sure how short to go... she will next time. Coco was a very good girl apparently... and only wriggled for 50% of the time! She even fell asleep at one point too! Talking of being asleep, they are both now zonked out on the couches in the lounge, sound asleep. Awwwww.

Truth be told, I'm kinda tired too.... might just join dem dogs! I vacumed and washed the floors this morning, made dinner in advance and numerous other house jobs... no wonder I am tired.

HA! No nap, kids arrived home didn't they? Oh well... I made a couple of cards this afternoon.... Stew is home now and I am making him venison pies for dinner. YUM.

End of Day: and Stew loved his pies. I got wrapt up in card making and forgot to have any dinner... is it too late at 10.30 pm to eat dinner? lol

nite nite.
