Today is going to be a day of cleaning.
Lacy is coming over to help me do some of the jobs that need doing all over again.
Like washing windows (thanks Lily and Steve), and skirting boards.
We did all that 5 months ago, when the house first went on the market, but looking around lately.... I can see it all needs doing again!
NOT all the windows, but some of them. Particularly ones that Lily has been putting her hands on, and Steve kindly messed one up last night, when he heard Lacy was going to be doing windows today!
The bloody shit.
Once the jobs are done, I doubt I will be doing anything else today.
We have a Private Viewing tomorrow, so just getting the house in perfect viewing condition is high on my 'to do' list today.
If I get a second wind later on, I'll probably end up in the sewing room. I have three Dragonfly projects on the go right now.
1 pm: And the cleaning is done. It felt good to do another really thorough clean.
Lacy was great, doing all the skirting boards for me.
ABOVE: Lacy pulled the bedside drawers away from the wall, to get to the skirting boards, and pretty much had a conniption! She said "Well that's where all the dust in Hamilton is hiding eh!"
It wasn't THAT BAD Lacy.... just a bit of dust, cobwebs and dead insects.
At least that's one job we won't have to do when we move.
I washed and polished all the floors, did some wiping away of marks on the walls, there weren't many. I do it all the time.
Then I went to the mall and posted that Dragonfly Wall Hanging off to Palmerston North, grabbed some groceries and came home.
It's now lunch time, so I'll have something to eat before deciding what to do next.
ABOVE: I finished the puzzle. And now I can't see straight, again.
It is now back in it's box, ready to be given to someone else to do.
6.32 pm: I did indeed end up in the sewing room this afternoon. And I got another Square Table Topper done... so now I have FOUR to quilt and bind over the next few days.
Today's one is SLIGHTLY different to the others... let's see if you can pick it's difference... TOMORROW.
It's now wind down, do NOTHING time. I'm bloody knackered.
It's been a busy day.
Catch ya tomorrow. And yes, I know it's an early sign off... but seriously, I ain't doing anything else tonight except sit on me arse and watch TV. Might yak to Stew now and then. *snort*

DeleteJust been to the dentists to have a broken tooth removed and another large filling replaced. I thought of you and wondered if your headaches have stopped now that the offending tooth has been removed. Audrey

Another full on day. You get so much done each day. Makes me feel so lazy.

We have two full size couches that sit against a wall. Once a year we roll them over/forward to clean under/behind them and it is always shocking what has accumulated.
