SIX MONTHS of marketing, Open Homes every weekend, masses of private viewings... and then FINALLY, a sale.
And it's finally here.
I have organised this move to within an inch of it's life, so I don't expect any hiccups. But ya just never know what could happen.
It is going to get SUPER BUSY here soon, so I probably won't be able to post much between now, and much later on today.
BARE WITH... 😂
Neither of us slept well last night, to be expected. Already tired. 😵🥴🥱
ABOVE: That's Stew... taking our trailer load out to the house. He'll come back in time for when the moving company gets here.
ABOVE: Our first, and hopefully ONLY GLITCH of the day. The treadmill won't fit through the side gate! We built the side fence and gate AFTER the treadmill was inside the house. Steve is going to pop over and see if he can find a solution....
Now unpacking the truck and cars. That is the first garden pot to be placed in its forever home.
ABOVE: The movers said I was the first person they had come across who moved massive rocks from house to house. 😂🤣😅
We are utterly knackered. We are going out for dinner. Then home to do nothing until tomorrow.
I've not had a chance to take photos... that will happen once things are more organised.
Dinner was nice. Nicer still to get home and put our feet up. No TV ... Stew hasn't tried connecting it yet.
Gotta go. So, so tired.
Catch ya tomorrow.
Good Luck with the move Chris and Stew and hope everything goes smoothly and you are soon settled into your new forever home.Wendy(from the UK)
ReplyDeleteYou and Stew must be so excited!! Got your underwear on inside out? 🤣

ReplyDeleteHappy to know that your move is finally getting underway. I have no doubt that it will go well.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your new home. Know how it is moving from 6 bedrooms (me) and two lounges - everything supersized down to a 2 bedroom town house ... two years later I still feel a bit overcrowded with no storage but love it - cleaning is a doddle and free time is fabulous. Have the best move ever (it can't be anything else when you have organised it so well :-) Thinking of you, Michele x

ReplyDeleteGood luck, not that you will need it, Here's an Irish wish for you and your new home - May your home be filled with laughter. May your pockets be filled with gold.
ReplyDeleteAnd may you have all the happiness, Your heart can hold. May your blessings outnumber, The Shamrocks that grow. And may trouble avoid you, Wherever you may go.
May luck be a friend to you, And be with you in all your days, And may trouble be to you, A stranger, now and always.” Margaret
Wishing you all the best in your new home. I hope the move goes smoothly.
