SOME HILARITY AT THE PUB LAST NIGHT

The group of blokes Stew drinks with on a Thursday night are predominantly old school mates.  So their friendships stretch back 50 odd years.

They spent a lot of time reminiscing about their  teenage/early 20's escapades last night.  It was really funny at times, some of the stories coming out of their mouths.

ABOVE:   'G' was showing off his new shirt, given to him for his 65th birthday a couple of days ago.

I really like it, and said I'd like to buy one for Stew.  Then 'R' pitched in, and said he'd like one too.

So I said I'd go out today and see if I could get some.

But I wondered what size to get for Stew and R?

So I STUPIDLY suggested 'G' take the shirt off and let Stew and 'R' try it on for size.

ABOVE:  Yep, next thing ya know, there's three half naked men in the pub!

WORSE STILL, I started taking a video of the idiots... and 'G' turned his back to us and dropped his trousers off his arse!!!   OMG it was soooooo funny.  Thank god he didn't divest himself of them altogether.

AS you can imagine, the patrons left in the bar thought it was hysterical ... luckily.

I won't suggest shirt swapping again though.

So that leads me into what I'm doing today.  First thing, I'm going into town to try and source a couple of those Waikato shirts for Stew and 'R'.

ABOVE: I visited Bex and the kids last night in between going to the pub, and she gave me this adorable little sea gull.  I'd seen her making it and 'hinted' that I would like one.  She gave it to me. Thanks Bex 💜💙😌 .

Now... I'm getting a bit of housework done, then heading off to town.

Later on this afternoon I am joining the ladies down in the Community Centre to suss out where we are all setting up for the Village Market tomorrow.

Stew and I will be able to set up our gazebo, racks etc tonight, and put our wares out tomorrow morning.  It's going to be neat not having to do it all first thing in the morning.

Catch ya later.

1.50 pm, and whoops!  I forgot to update when I got home from town.
I managed to get the shirts I wanted, though I do have to wait for one to come over from the Mount.
Another big TICK off the Christmas shopping list.

Once home I had my lunch, a kebab with salad and a beef patty chopped up.  Yummy.
Now?  I'm just hanging out until I have to go down to the Community Centre to suss out me spot.
